3MP Breakfast announcer Jon Vertigan has been in the radio industry for 29 years.

But before he got in, he was a 'prize-pig'. That's industry talk for someone that regularly phones in and wins radio contests.

Each episode, Jon will flash back to the late 80's and replay actual audio of him winning radio contests. Then, some 30 plus years down the track, he will track down the announcer who gave him the prize, to apologize to them for being a 'teenage prize-pig'.
