The point is this: Have you had "The Talk" with your kids about sex, dating, love & relationships? Or, do you have an ongoing conversation with them about these things? Research shows that if you just have one "Talk," they're not going to count you as a resource on these issues. Further, overreaction is probably the biggest hindrance to an ongoing conversation.
