Who among us doesn't enjoy a good mystery? And

0:03

especially when solving it means that I get to

0:06

bring out my competitive side, even

0:08

if it's just me against the clock, I

0:10

just can't wait to uncover all the secrets.

0:13

So June's Journey is a game that is

0:15

completely up my alley, and I think you'll

0:17

love it too. In

0:19

June's Journey, a hidden object mystery game,

0:22

you play as June Parker, who's on

0:24

a quest to solve her sister's murder

0:26

and uncover her family's many secrets. Each

0:29

chapter brings you deeper into the story, and

0:31

it's set in the Roaring 20s, so beyond

0:33

uncovering clues, you get to experience the glitz

0:35

and glamour of the time. June's Journey is

0:37

definitely not a game I play mindlessly, which

0:40

I love because I get genuinely invested, and

0:42

a lot of it is a race against

0:44

time, so there's a little fun added pressure

0:46

of trying to find the clues as quickly

0:48

as you can in each scene. There

0:50

are also tons of ways to customize the island

0:52

that you're on, learn more about the characters, and

0:55

then new chapters are added weekly, so you really

0:57

can't run out of things to explore. So

0:59

if you think you're up to solve

1:02

this case, download June's Journey for free

1:04

today on iOS or Android, or play

1:06

on PC through Facebook games. Who

1:08

needs your help, Detective? Hello

1:36

and welcome to the IGN UK Podcast. It's

1:55

me, Simon Cardi, with Dale Driver.

1:57

Hello, hello. Matt Perzler. Good

2:00

morning, Simon. Look at that. I

2:02

did a proper intro to a podcast there where I

2:04

actually introduce who everyone is. And now I might even

2:06

let people know what we're going to talk about because

2:09

sometimes we don't even do that. It's

2:11

only when I listen to other podcasts that I realise,

2:13

oh, these people actually host it and actually tell you

2:16

what's coming up and stuff like that. But yeah, who

2:18

needs that anyway? But we will be talking a bit

2:20

about Rise of the Rohn in this week, which comes

2:22

out next week. We can talk about the first couple

2:24

of hours or so of that game because it's still

2:26

under a preview embargo. And then

2:28

we're also going to talk about a few films, old and

2:30

new, that we've been watching over

2:33

the last week. So, yeah, we'll keep

2:35

those secret, though, although if you've read the podcast script and

2:37

you probably know exactly what films there are. But

2:40

don't read it if you want a surprise. Anyway, Rise

2:43

of the Rohn in the new

2:45

game. What's

2:48

all these long pauses about? I don't know. Are you being

2:50

a Rohn in this? I'm trying to say so. I

2:54

don't know. The new game

2:56

from the Neo Studio, which is Team

2:58

Ninja. I had

3:01

Ninja Theory in my head because I've been thinking a

3:03

lot about Helblades. I played that, replayed that this week.

3:05

And I was like, it's not Ninja Theory. It's Ninja.

3:07

It's Ninja something. And then I got the words the

3:10

wrong way around. The new

3:12

game from Team Ninja, which is

3:14

kind of it's an odd game. We're

3:17

going to I don't think I think we

3:19

were a bit mixed on it so far.

3:21

We should say we've only played two hours, but there

3:23

are some things in it. I like there's some things

3:25

in it. I just think I don't necessarily gel with.

3:28

But I suppose the rough. How

3:30

would you sell this game? It's kind of an open

3:33

world historical Japanese

3:35

game that kind of has the

3:37

Neo combat, but almost like a

3:40

ghost of Shusima shell or a bit

3:42

of an assassin's creature. It's an open

3:44

world Neo, I suppose is a quick

3:46

way. Yeah, I guess in many ways

3:48

it is to Neo and

3:51

I guess to Wollong as well. What? Elden

3:55

Ring is to Fromsoft. But

3:57

where is Elden Ring? has

4:00

kind of like the Breath of the

4:02

Wild style open world. This is much

4:04

more of an Assassin's Creed as

4:06

you go to Tsushima style open world. It's kind of,

4:08

it's got a lot of things going on, which is

4:11

why like the first two hours can be a bit

4:13

overwhelming, I think, trying to work out what's

4:15

going on also, just what you think of it. I've kind

4:17

of had a hard time trying to

4:20

construct critical thoughts on what I think this, I

4:22

think, I have not

4:24

really, I've played a tiny bit of Neo and

4:26

I played like barely any of WoLong and like

4:28

Team Ninja's combat has never quite stuck with me.

4:30

It's kind of like that, they're obviously

4:32

going for the Souls-like combat, but I just find

4:34

about it's a bit too floaty and imprecise for

4:37

me. I don't want to say clunky, it doesn't

4:39

feel quite clunky. It's saying about it feels quite

4:41

loose, that I just, I feel like if you're

4:43

going for that quite difficult

4:45

melee combat, you want it to be very

4:48

precise and I don't feel I'm ever quite

4:50

getting that with these games. And for

4:52

me, I think it's the

4:54

combat, it looks, it

4:56

can look spectacular, but I think it's bogged

4:59

down by the controls for me. This is coming from

5:01

someone who's not played TV. You're

5:03

not a game. I don't also haven't played Neo

5:06

and stuff. So like there might be things here

5:08

that, oh, they're just commonplace for everybody else, but

5:10

I don't experience. But for me, I always felt

5:12

like I was fighting my own brain.

5:14

I never felt like I was doing things intuitively and I

5:16

know this is early on in the game, but always felt

5:18

like I had to think, for example, you

5:21

can switch stances like you could in Ghost of Tsushima,

5:24

but to switch stances, you have to hold R1 and

5:26

then flick the right stick in the direction of

5:29

the stance with the arrows pointing up or being

5:31

neutral as opposed to pointing down. But

5:33

I never felt like that came natural. And it might after 20,

5:36

30 hours of play. I think that's the problem, right?

5:38

After a couple of hours, it's quite, to

5:40

learn this combat in two hours, I think it's

5:43

quite tough. And to, because mainly, I think the

5:45

crux of the combat is in the parry system

5:47

and reading enemy attacks. And it's not as simple

5:49

to read those enemy attacks. They have a lot

5:51

of different cadences and it's working out, am I

5:54

supposed to parry at the point of impact or

5:56

when the little sign appears or when, and I

5:58

think that'll over time be easier. to learn but

6:00

at first it can be quite challenging.

6:02

I mean the parry system as well, and

6:04

again, not someone who doesn't play Souls games,

6:07

but based on somebody who plays, I've played

6:09

a lot of games with parry mechanics, and

6:12

it always for me makes sense to have the

6:14

block and the parry be the same button. When

6:17

I block in the right time frame, that

6:19

is a parry. This game doesn't do that,

6:21

so L1 is block, but you use triangle

6:23

as your parry system. What do they call

6:25

it? They have a- It's called

6:27

counter spark. Counter spark, that's it. I

6:30

agree with you on this Dale, because I've got

6:32

a little bugbear. I

6:35

like melee combat systems where

6:38

they use the triggers as

6:40

your striking buttons,

6:43

which obviously is a Dark Souls kind of

6:45

thing that massively popularised that, but we've seen

6:47

that in many other games. With

6:51

this, your standard melee strike button,

6:53

your normal attack, is on square,

6:55

which means that's where your thumb

6:57

is for the majority of the

6:59

combat, because mostly you are on

7:01

the offensive. Then it

7:03

means that you have to move across

7:05

the face of the controller to get

7:07

to where parry is at

7:09

the right moment, whereas if

7:11

it was a timing based system like it is

7:13

in almost every other game, you

7:15

would already have your finger on the

7:17

block button anyway, because it's on your

7:20

left hand rather than your right hand,

7:22

and so you're always ready to just

7:24

get that timing right and get it.

7:26

Whereas with this, you have to move

7:28

a thumb across from one button to

7:30

the other and then get the timing right in

7:32

a system where, Cardi, as you say,

7:35

the timing is very unclear on these

7:38

parry windows. I will

7:40

say it's unlike, you

7:42

know, not just compared to Souls-like games,

7:44

but there is obviously there's routes there.

7:47

This game does have difficulty options, which a lot of those

7:49

games don't have. So you can turn it down to easy

7:51

and kind of do. I feel like what a lot of

7:53

us did with the first

7:55

ever Jedi Fallen Order and have that sort of fantasy of

7:57

being a Jedi and just turn it down to easy. slice.

8:00

Yeah I mean that's absolutely my vibe. I do it

8:02

for quite a lot of games actually because I like

8:05

when I'm playing games I like to feel

8:07

like I'm something really better. Yeah I can

8:09

power and I can just destroy everybody. I

8:12

guess I'll have low patience for the idea

8:14

of building up to that level but

8:17

you know it's the way I enjoy games and I'm entitled

8:19

to do that and but I did try this on normal

8:21

for a while and then I quickly realized it's just a

8:23

war of attrition. It's just like okay I'm doing

8:25

what I want to do and it looks cool it just takes five

8:28

times longer so why not put on easy and achieve

8:31

what I want to achieve in a quicker time. I'm

8:33

playing this on normal and it's

8:35

not absurdly it's not the difficulty of

8:37

woe long or a neo from what I've experienced

8:39

so far it is somewhere in between and like

8:41

you said it's not necessarily that it's difficult

8:44

it is just like that'll take longer. Yeah I'm

8:46

just doing the same thing for longer I find

8:48

they just have bigger health bars is what I'm

8:50

feeling and that's kind of a little bit frustrating.

8:52

I do kind of feel you maybe I would

8:54

knock it down to easy which feels more like

8:56

you're playing an assassin like you can one like

8:59

you're playing an assassin or something and you get

9:01

to go around this world which so far the

9:03

world hasn't seen a lot of it isn't that

9:05

much interesting always like being in this sort of historical

9:07

Japanese saying. Yeah and there's someone who's like I mean

9:10

all three of us watching Shogun at the moment I

9:12

know it I know it's within

9:14

like it's in history couple

9:16

a hundred years apart. Yes but there's still

9:19

like there's comparisons to be had right and

9:21

I feel like it's disappointing so far however

9:23

I am assuming it's a very big world

9:25

and there's lots to see so

9:27

I'm hopeful that it's going to be

9:29

someone like the incredible looking

9:31

like a Shubhisa Yokohama brothel and take

9:33

some pictures. Yeah that was a strange

9:36

mission yeah and then yeah

9:38

the whole Yokohama section

9:44

does feel significantly dated it almost feels like

9:46

it doesn't need to be open world to

9:48

be honest from my opinion because it felt

9:51

like a PS3 designed city

9:54

like quite sparse not really populated

9:56

huge open roads as well like

9:58

the like the old GTA games

10:00

where the roads would just be so much bigger

10:02

than they should actually be. I

10:05

will say, obviously we're quite negative on this

10:08

so far, but I do see some value

10:10

in it. I think the

10:12

range of weaponry, although there's a negative

10:14

touch, I think the range of weaponry on

10:17

offer is incredible. And the fact that

10:19

as somebody who can eventually master this

10:21

system and be good at it, the

10:23

ability to switch through these stances of

10:26

different weaponry from sword

10:28

or katana dual blades to go to a

10:30

spear, to a pole axe, to bayonet, then to

10:32

switch to a handgun, then to throw a

10:34

grappling hook and pull someone in. I

10:37

can imagine when people have mastered this combat, it's

10:39

going to look so impressive and so cool. However,

10:43

we spoke about this the other day,

10:45

they do throw it all at you

10:47

immediately and it's quite a lot to

10:49

learn. It's quite intense. It also means

10:51

that the opening of the game is

10:55

very tutorial heavy in the sense

10:57

of you have to play a

10:59

prologue that is largely narratively

11:01

divorced from a lot of the rest of

11:03

the game. It does introduce the core concept

11:06

of what you are as a Ronin and

11:08

there's a whole almost weird

11:10

religion sort of element about the twin

11:12

blade, which is that you work alongside

11:15

someone. I don't actually know the historical

11:17

actress on that, but it does

11:19

mean that you have to go through a

11:21

very traditional training school of hitting hay bales

11:23

and jummies. It's quite a poor prologue because

11:25

the game does open up and becomes what

11:27

it is after that first. Yeah,

11:30

but when I think of, you know, I'm not a

11:32

massive fan of Ghost of Tsushima, but when I

11:34

think of the way that that opened and how

11:36

it introduced that era of history,

11:38

because the historical elements are very important

11:40

to this in the way that they

11:42

were to Assassin's Creed. You

11:45

are going up against historically, like

11:48

people of history, right? The first boss in this

11:50

game that's in the tutorial is Matthew

11:53

Perry, not all friends, but all of

11:55

actual history. You know, they make it

11:57

clear to put Matthew C Perry. deliberately

12:00

just to make it.

12:03

Which then to have a very very minor

12:05

link to Shogun it's funny that the character

12:07

that you play as in Neo is

12:10

Blackthorn from Shogun. Is it? Yeah because

12:12

Blackthorn is based on an actual historical

12:14

character so there is almost like Neo

12:17

is from the start of this kind

12:19

of period and Rise of the Ronin

12:21

is the end of it and

12:24

so therefore I think there's probably quite a lot of intrigue

12:27

if this is your bag like this area

12:29

of history is something you have either

12:32

a lot of interest in already or you

12:34

want to know more about. I think

12:36

like Assassin's Creed does it's kind of a soft

12:39

history lesson but

12:41

the one thing that I have found odd about that is

12:43

you do fight men

12:45

that are like 12 feet tall. I'm not quite

12:47

sure how much it's gonna go into some of

12:49

that fantastical

12:54

stuff. I think they'd sort of suggested that

12:57

it wouldn't though so I think it's a

13:00

stylistic choice that like the mini

13:02

bosses are just really big men

13:04

but but

13:06

why? Yeah I mean it's kind of

13:08

funny and I could but it never

13:10

actually makes that like a quirky thing

13:12

I don't think it's you know how

13:14

in the Yakuza games which is you

13:16

know I don't have a huge amount

13:18

of experience with them but they do

13:20

do bananas bits. Yeah. I get the

13:22

impression that this game is a lot more serious than

13:24

that so I'm not really sure why the enemies are tall.

13:26

I mean the whole like in the like a dragon games

13:29

most recently the whole point is like it's all in his

13:31

head essentially. He's like you know all this maths that's happening

13:33

his head he's imagining he's a video game character but for

13:35

this yeah it's just like yeah if

13:37

there's some maths stuff going on and like I'm

13:40

just like very meh on this game

13:42

I just don't especially at time when there's lots

13:44

of good-looking games coming out and like good games

13:47

that have come out like this one is unfortunately

13:49

near at the bottom of my pile at the

13:51

moment it's like it is just meh I'm playing

13:53

I'm like playing and I like go

13:55

Tsushima more than both you I think I'm sorry I

13:58

think I'd rather just play that again. I

14:00

have considered giving it another chance because I was like

14:02

there are bits of this yeah as I agree with

14:05

you I don't think I don't think it's necessarily going

14:07

to turn out to be a bad game or any

14:09

might just It's not my cup of tea It's not

14:11

it's not jelly with my preferences But what it is

14:13

is like in an era where kind of like shoguns

14:16

on TV, you know I'm like I'm gripped by that

14:18

I've been playing shadow tactics on PC,

14:20

which is also set during the shogunate

14:22

kind of period I

14:25

have got like that sword play

14:27

and that vibe and that feel and the

14:29

honor code of this and those the

14:32

characters that are drawn out of those scenarios

14:34

I have got a Grasp

14:36

saw so so maybe it is the answer is to go

14:38

break goes to I would finish it cuz he didn't finish

14:41

it Did you know I think in

14:43

the last of the game is the fact like it does get

14:45

better and better as it goes I would say despite what you

14:47

think about some of the mechanics or the systems of the game

14:49

is Cinematic as hell and

14:51

like that's what you're appreciating in Shogun,

14:53

right? And it's yeah, definitely. Yeah, just

14:56

even thinking Like of

14:58

a moment like there's no moment in rise of

15:00

the run and so far There's been even close

15:02

to just having the standoff with somebody in game

15:05

You know Yeah,

15:07

cuz that's the thing. It's not very curious tower

15:09

is it rise of the road in it It's

15:11

got the like when you stab people you get

15:13

the iconic burst of blood that comes

15:15

out of them, but I wouldn't say it's Trying

15:18

to evoke that sense of kind

15:20

of samurai cinema that the no

15:23

go to sushi medicine get is definitely a

15:25

game We're all for the tri-y a film

15:27

game like this is maybe trying to be

15:29

but yeah I think I

15:31

don't I don't know put this off if you're big

15:34

into near and wolong and look forward to scam I

15:36

think you will have a good time Just about none

15:38

of it like I know you've never really gone with

15:40

neo combat have you Matt? So like it would really

15:42

transfer to this and yeah, it's just not what I'm

15:44

looking for the moon It's funny in that that like,

15:46

you know, neo is always seen as this sort of

15:49

You know, it's another company doing a souls like

15:51

and despite the fact I love from soft games

15:53

I never clicked with this but I also think

15:55

that that's an opener to If

15:58

you if you don't click with FromSoft games,

16:00

you're like, oh, here's the company that

16:02

makes FromSoft likes doing an Assassin's Creed

16:05

game. I don't think that is

16:07

a barrier to entry. It might be exactly

16:09

what you're looking for because they don't actually,

16:11

there is overlaps, but it's not a jigsaw

16:13

puzzle where they connect. Yeah, it's

16:15

just because I am kind of in the mood. Like I'm

16:18

really now looking forward to Assassin's Creed red because I

16:20

kind of, I know a lot of people wanted to

16:22

kind of scale back to Assassin's Creed Mirage of the

16:24

old stealth days, but I actually, I'm in the mood

16:26

for like a big Assassin's Creed, I think right now.

16:29

I could go, but I never finished Origins, so

16:31

I've been thinking maybe I'll go back to that,

16:33

but also, there's so many games coming out I'm

16:35

going to actually use to work on, then let's

16:38

see. This one's made by the Odyssey team, so

16:40

it's going to be, they have a reputation for

16:42

big, right? Yeah, that is one review.

16:45

I probably will turn down because it will take 100

16:47

hours of your life. Fast forward to seven months time

16:50

when I'm reviewing that game. Yeah,

16:54

rather than run. I think, like I said, if you're looking forward

16:56

to it and you know you like Team Ninja's game, so

16:59

a lot of the previews have been very positive for people who

17:01

do like those games. And played

17:04

by people who haven't played those, like the

17:06

Team Ninja stuff as well. Yeah,

17:09

and I think, yeah, this is like

17:11

PlayStation's big exclusive after Helldivers and kind

17:14

of for the foreseeable future. Yeah, for the year,

17:16

right? I don't think they'll... I wouldn't be surprised

17:18

if there's more. I suppose Final Fantasy was also

17:20

kind of exclusive. Surely

17:23

they'll have something else at some point, but yeah, for

17:25

the foreseeable future, they'll be hoping this sells

17:28

well. But yeah, there we go. Rise

17:30

of the Ronin. Enjoy! A

17:34

film, Dale, that came out. A

17:37

comedy film starring your man, your

17:39

big wrestling man, John Cena, Ricky

17:41

Stinecki. Have a

17:43

new film from the Farreli brothers who are not

17:45

necessarily known. Is it just one of them?

17:47

Yeah, just Peter Farreli, I think. Known

17:50

for their kind of crude comedies,

17:52

so to speak, except for when they

17:54

bizarrely won the Oscar for Green Book.

17:56

Which is a weird turn of... I

18:00

don't even like I for me I just obviously

18:02

that Farley brothers had that period in the early night He's

18:04

going into the early 2000 and then I

18:07

just feel like I never really thought about or saw their

18:09

films I'm sure they would they came out, but I just

18:11

didn't know it No, I feel like

18:13

they kind of they hit there the last coming back remember

18:15

was it Hall, but oh no, they did

18:17

dumb and dumb a two didn't they like ten years ago? But

18:23

yeah They're back to

18:25

the comment is what is Ricky

18:27

Stenicki? So Ricky Stenicki is a

18:29

silly name for a silly film

18:32

and it is about a group

18:34

of free threat free friends as

18:36

children they To get

18:38

themselves out of trouble They invent a friend

18:41

called Ricky Stenicki and they learn over time

18:43

through the years That they can

18:45

use this imaginary friend to always get themselves out of

18:47

trouble and it we come to the point in their

18:49

life When the three of them

18:51

want to just spend time as men and go out

18:53

to do things But their wives won't let

18:55

them so they say are we going to

18:57

see Ricky Snicky? Oh in the case of the side

18:59

of story is they say Ricky Snicky's actually got cancer

19:02

and they have to go and see him and spend

19:04

time with him They

19:06

get caught in this ruse But before

19:09

they fully exposed they managed to work out

19:11

a system where they hire an actor To

19:13

play Ricky Snicky to get themselves out of trouble

19:16

That actor is played by John Cena

19:18

who is Currently a

19:21

guy down on his look who

19:23

is a stage performer in Atlantic

19:25

City who largely does parody songs

19:28

about Wanking he

19:30

changes he changes the lyrics To

19:33

be about a bottle human they're known for

19:35

yeah Yeah,

19:38

there's I think it's

19:40

white wedding by Billy. I don't it's

19:42

a nice day for wood whacking is

19:44

the is the lyrics So

19:46

that's the sort of I'd be going for and

19:48

it's exactly what you expect I mean the reason

19:50

I watch it. I mean, I think John Cena

19:53

is on a really Excellent row doing

19:55

comedy films right now. Did you see his bit

19:57

of the Oscars? I haven't watch it. I've

19:59

seen both It's very good. It's one of

20:01

the best bits of the life. It's strange to

20:03

me because I was never like a really big

20:05

John Cena fan in wrestling and I never thought

20:08

he's so like straight

20:10

previously in wrestling at times. It was a period earlier on

20:13

in his when he was doing comedy stuff but

20:15

I never thought he'd be like this such a great

20:17

comedy actor that he's become and I think part of

20:19

it is the straightness of it

20:21

like he says the most ridiculous things but he seems

20:23

like he's completely sincere and he believes them and I

20:25

think that's what makes him. He really is who The

20:28

Rock thinks he is. To me.

20:30

Oh The Rock is not funny to me

20:32

at all. Oh The Rock in wrestling is

20:34

funny. That's the interesting that but I agree

20:36

in films not so much whereas I think

20:38

he plays a great straight actor, action actor.

20:42

I think John Cena without a doubt is the

20:44

highlight of this film like he turns any

20:47

sort of dialogue even on paper which you think

20:49

is probably not that funny. He makes it funny

20:51

and I spent a good time laughing

20:53

at him. The problem I'd say is the rest

20:56

of the cast not for much and

20:58

I think Zac Efron is a really good comedic actor

21:00

as well. I think he's a lot. We were speaking

21:02

about Bad Neighbors the other week. I think he's great

21:04

in those films but

21:06

he is completely straight in this film as

21:09

are the main creators Andrew Santino as well

21:11

as one of them. I'm not sure who

21:13

the third guy is. I've not seen him

21:15

before. Jermaine Fowl? Yes. What has

21:17

he been in stuff before? I don't know. I think

21:19

he was in the second Coming to America, which I

21:22

haven't actually seen. All three of

21:24

them play it very straight and Andrew Santino is surprising that

21:26

he's so straight in it to be honest. They

21:30

try to do some jokes with him but

21:32

none of them land and I think that

21:34

ultimately bogs the film down a little bit.

21:36

However, it's a short comedy. It's on Amazon

21:38

Prime. It's easy to watch. If you're a

21:41

fan of John Cena's comedic chops,

21:43

I'd say it's worth a watch. Does

21:45

it do that arc, that

21:47

story arc I find really annoying? You know

21:49

the story already. Every comedy of the last

21:51

15 years is like the last 10 minutes

21:54

we've got to make it really heartfelt. Absolutely.

21:56

Why? Just make it funny. I don't need

21:58

a lesson to be learned. It makes

22:00

him ridiculously to logic to get all

22:02

the characters in the sentimental moment at

22:05

the end as well. It's like obviously

22:07

you have the end of the second

22:09

act where it's like everybody falls out

22:11

and everything's exposed. This is spoilers

22:14

but you know the story already before seeing this

22:16

film and then everyone comes back together and realises

22:18

what a good guy he actually was all along.

22:21

And yeah, don't worry too much

22:23

about that. It's more just a

22:25

vehicle for lots of ridiculous

22:28

moments with John Cena being gross and disgusting. He

22:30

does some crazy things. I think it's just streaming

22:32

on Prime as well, isn't it? Yes. You

22:35

can just watch it now. I was looking at the development of this film.

22:38

I saw that. But 2010, it was originally

22:40

going to be James Franco and then for obvious reasons

22:42

he's no longer doing it. 2012,

22:46

Joaquin Phoenix was apparently going to be

22:48

Ricky Stinecki. Yeah. But then a

22:51

year later, Jim Carrey was going to be Ricky.

22:53

Like the amount of different people and it ended

22:55

up 10 years later with John Cena doing it.

22:58

So Nick Cage was going to do it at one point as well. I

23:00

could see that to be fair. Imagine Joaquin

23:02

Phoenix, Jim Carrey and Nick plus Cage all

23:04

in the same film. Wow.

23:07

That is great. I can't believe this

23:09

script has been like floating around Hollywood

23:11

for so long as well which is

23:13

crazy because it's a pretty, I suppose

23:16

the concept is quite good for a

23:18

comedy film. I'd say, yeah,

23:20

if you really like John Cena as a comedy

23:22

actor, you know, it's worth a

23:24

watch. It's a

23:27

nice like fun film, but yeah, it's not going to be

23:29

your favourite comedy of all time. It's

23:31

one I'll keep in the back pocket if I really

23:33

need something, I think. But

23:36

yeah, speaking of Joaquin Phoenix, did you see the

23:38

announcement of Ari Aster's newer film? No.

23:41

He's doing a Western with A24 that

23:43

has Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal and Emma

23:46

Stone and Austin

23:48

Butler. Wow. Yeah,

23:50

loaded. I can't wait for that one.

23:52

Is it a Western Western? It's

23:55

described as a Western. Yeah, so I don't know if it's going

23:57

to have any horror in it or anything. But

24:00

yeah, I don't know if you saw, did you guys see Bow is Afraid

24:02

in the end? I haven't on my list.

24:04

Or is this stretch? I've never got round to it. It's

24:07

a film I started very mixed thoughts about but I

24:09

think it's worth watching. But

24:11

yeah, and also Paul Thomas Anderson's film is

24:14

coming out next summer with Leonardo DiCaprio and

24:17

it's in IMAX. We are, I'm

24:19

living the dream next year. The idea is going

24:21

to be so good for films. I

24:24

find it baffling that Paul Thomas Anderson is

24:26

using an IMAX camera. It's such a... I

24:28

feel like it goes against everything he does.

24:30

Yeah. It's the sort of image

24:32

when I close my eyes and think of heaven, I see.

24:34

What? What? Paul

24:36

Thomas Anderson was an IMAX camera. He's an IMAX camera. He's for me.

24:39

I can only imagine Paul Thomas Anderson with like a 1970s 35mm camera.

24:45

Imagine if he'd shot the opening there would be blood on

24:47

IMAX with all of those ones. Oh, it would look amazing.

24:49

Yeah. God. It's

24:51

just to say that. IMAX is a bit like

24:54

the picture quality is too... Do you even

24:56

understand what I mean when I say it's too good for them? I know

24:58

what you mean. You want something that looks like

25:00

it was found in the oil lane. That's

25:03

what Greg Fraser, the DP of June does.

25:06

I think they film it on digital

25:08

and then run it through film so it

25:10

gets a bit of the grain back which

25:12

is really interesting. Anyway, I'm very nerdy on

25:14

cinematography there. One film,

25:17

talking about cinematography, that's one of the awards

25:19

you can win at the Oscars, isn't it? That

25:21

was last weekend. I finally, the night before the Oscars,

25:23

got around to watching the last of the best picture

25:25

nominees as I like to do every

25:27

year. Very good films nominated this year I

25:29

thought. And the last one I got to

25:31

watch was American Fiction which is now available

25:33

to watch on Prime as is Ricky Stinecki.

25:36

Different films. Is that hair? That's

25:38

kind of what it is. If

25:42

you don't know what American Fiction is,

25:44

it stars Jeffrey Wright who is an

25:46

author who's kind of in a

25:48

bit of a writer's block phase. He's had a

25:50

few books come out that are kind of good

25:53

books but have never sold well. He's kind of,

25:56

it's a comedy but also

25:58

has a lot of melons. and cole and

26:00

sadness in there. So he's kind of balancing, it's

26:02

that typical thing of trying to balance work of

26:05

getting over his right as bot ball, so some

26:07

family issues coming up. He's got a

26:10

very eccentric brother played by Sterling K. Brown,

26:12

who is very good fun in this and

26:14

was also nominated for an Oscar. I

26:17

just really enjoyed, this film surprised me because I'd kind

26:19

of not really read much about it before watching it

26:21

and it's just a lot funnier, a lot lighter than

26:24

I thought it would be. Could

26:26

this be a best adapted screen, or was it odd

26:28

for best adapted? Best

26:30

adapted screenplay, yeah. Written and directed by Cor

26:32

Jefferson, it's his first ever film. And if

26:34

ever I want any of

26:37

us want any incentive, only eight

26:39

years ago was he a journalist for Collider, so

26:41

it can be done. It's his first ever film,

26:44

he's made anyone on Oscar, so there you

26:46

go. I haven't seen it yet, but I

26:48

did see some screen caps of moments that

26:50

were from kind of like how light and

26:52

comedic it was, and people being

26:54

surprised that this was what the Oscars

26:58

was looking at because they normally like to go

27:00

for slightly stuffier scripts, right? Yeah, I mean,

27:02

it does have a lot of light hearted, but

27:04

it also does have, like I said, those quite

27:06

emotional, like downbeat moments, but it also has a

27:09

mess. It's just got a, I really, really love the

27:11

end of this film, it's something you're not gonna give

27:13

away. It also does tackle themes of race and kind

27:15

of the crux of this story is Jeffrey

27:18

Wright's character who's called Thelonious

27:21

Monk in, right, inverted commas,

27:25

kind of battling with this idea of, do

27:29

I write a kind of lowest common

27:31

denominator in open brackets, black, like fiction

27:33

story that talks about the streets in

27:35

order to sell the book? And it's

27:37

kind of about him getting, he almost

27:39

like it falls like spirals into this

27:41

thing of like, oh no, I didn't

27:43

want this to happen sort of thing

27:45

that gets very funny at times. It's

27:48

just a really, it surprised me how much I enjoyed this

27:50

film because I thought from the, I'd only seen one trailer

27:52

and like what I'd seen about it, it did seem a

27:54

little bit like it'd be quite a straight-faced

27:56

drama, but it's nice, actually very light on

27:58

its feet and yeah. I'd really

28:00

recommend watching American fiction. It's on Prime now.

28:02

You can watch it anytime.

28:05

Yeah, I might watch it this

28:07

weekend. Yeah, I'd recommend it. I

28:09

think I did like 7th

28:11

in my best stock picture, I guess. But still

28:14

very, very good. I did actually see, I don't

28:16

think we ever spoke about it. I watched Poor

28:18

Things. Yeah, I saw where you put it. I

28:20

don't like it. I

28:23

think Poor Things is exceptional. And I

28:25

get why people love it. It

28:28

just doesn't work. I

28:30

admire the artistry and the design,

28:32

the whole images and everything, the

28:35

cinematography of that film so much.

28:37

But it's the same thing I had with The

28:39

Favourite with Jorgos Lanfelos. It just didn't click with

28:42

me whatsoever. It just left me so cold. I

28:44

didn't find it funny. I was just

28:46

like, this is far too long. I'm just like, what's

28:48

going on? How long is it? It's

28:50

like 2 and a half. I was 20, but it

28:52

feels longer to me. I keep seeing it. I don't

28:55

know. It's just a classic case of it's not for

28:57

me, I think. I keep seeing it.

28:59

I do want to watch it mainly because I just

29:01

think Emma Thorne, even in the trailer, is just fascinating.

29:03

She is fascinating. I just need to see more of

29:05

it. That's the thing. All the acts, everything. Mark Ruffalo

29:08

is incredible. He's so funny in this film. That's the

29:10

one thing I did like. But yeah, it just left

29:12

me. I've said about his comedies made me cold. Keeping

29:14

him a sacred dear, I absolutely love it. But

29:17

it's so dark. It's like the darkest film you'll

29:19

watch. I think I really like

29:21

this because A, obviously the set design

29:23

of it is so much my sensibility,

29:25

like anything that's just this weird fucked

29:28

up fairy tale thing. The

29:30

more I think about it, I've had quite a few

29:32

conversations about Bella, Baxter as a

29:34

character now. I just think it's an astonishing

29:36

character study. And I think the way that

29:39

it is a, it's

29:41

looking at the female experience through the,

29:43

do you know what the very basic

29:45

concept of it, Dale, is? Yeah, it's

29:47

like a Frankenstein story. So her

29:50

brain is a baby's brain in

29:52

an adult's body, which is this

29:54

fascinating way to explore how

29:58

women have been oppressed because the baby's... mind

30:00

doesn't understand that there are rules that women

30:02

are supposed to abide by. And

30:04

then all of these men taking horrendous

30:07

like, like

30:09

advantage of the fact that she doesn't

30:11

know what societal rules are. And

30:13

it's like this wonderful like, microcosm

30:16

reflection of so many kind of mad

30:18

things that happen in our world through

30:20

a very comedic lens. There

30:23

are just wonderfully dark jokes in it. But

30:25

yeah, I think I understand Cardi when if

30:28

that doesn't strike a chord with your funny bone, I

30:30

can see how you can't run through the film with

30:32

it. And it was like I ranked it 10th out

30:34

of 10 for my best fiction on these. That doesn't

30:36

mean I still gave it on letterbox like a three

30:38

and a half. Right. Well seven out. I still enjoyed

30:40

it enough. There's a lot I liked about but like

30:42

it just wasn't I don't know, it didn't clip for

30:44

me. I do think if I'd gone to the cinema

30:46

and maybe just like let myself be kind

30:49

of go that watching at home was probably

30:51

different. I've also had like a long time

30:53

because I saw it on I think it

30:55

was New Year's Day or something like that

30:57

because I was in America. And

31:00

I've had a long time think about it. And when I

31:02

came out the cinema I gave it a four but I

31:04

bumped it up to a five recently on my letterbox. Because

31:07

I yeah, like I keep thinking about it. And

31:09

I think that's I see so many films now

31:11

that I don't think about like one

31:14

week after. And yet this one I keep coming back

31:16

to. That's true. That was killing stuff out of me

31:18

for me like keep I

31:20

think about it literally salt burn for me.

31:22

And I just couldn't stop thinking about salt

31:25

burn. Well, that was the last time I

31:27

had that effect. Because I think salt burn

31:29

is incredible. And I also think the fact

31:31

that so many people either don't like salt

31:33

burn, or at least from my

31:36

perspective, don't get salt burn. Every time like

31:38

a little bit of that conversation would come

31:40

up, I'd re analyze like what my thoughts

31:42

were on it and be like, No, I

31:44

am convinced that I think it's great. Yeah,

31:46

yeah. Yeah, good stuff. Speaking of

31:48

the office, did anyone see Al

31:50

Pacino announce the he just doesn't

31:52

give us it. He's walked up and he's like, everyone's like,

31:54

why is he not announcing nominees? It's like he was never

31:56

meant to because they did that throughout the show. But he

31:59

just walked up. He walks up and he just goes, I'll

32:02

open the envelope and my

32:04

eyes see Oppenheimer. And

32:06

everyone's like, is that the announcement? Is

32:09

that him saying the award goes to Oppenheimer? He

32:11

didn't even pay the best picture of 2024. He

32:14

just went, and my eyes see

32:16

Oppenheimer. And then there's like a second

32:18

of silence and then a pause. I only

32:20

bring up Al Pacino because it's been

32:23

like a long wait on my back

32:25

that I recently got rid of last

32:27

weekend. Godfather Part 1 and

32:29

Part 2 are two of my top five

32:31

films of all time. I've seen each of those, I

32:33

would say, near 20 times each. I

32:35

watched those maybe two times a year and

32:38

I loved them to death. I think they're

32:40

just incredible. And I've never

32:43

watched the Godfather Part 3 just because I know

32:45

how much of a letdown it was meant to

32:47

be. How's that even happened though, watching them 20

32:49

times in your life and never even thought about? Because

32:51

I know they're not meant... Those

32:54

two films are perfect to

32:56

me as one six-hour piece

32:58

of incredible films. And

33:00

I was just like, I know it's going to be

33:02

a letdown and I just don't want to

33:04

do it. But I was like, I've got to do it. I've

33:07

got to form this opinion myself. And I was like,

33:09

how can it be as bad as people say it

33:11

is? In my

33:13

head it was like, it's probably okay. It's just nowhere near as

33:15

good as you are too. I was not prepared for how much

33:18

of a mess the Godfather Part 3 was. I

33:20

don't know. I genuinely can't barely remember it. I

33:22

watched it and I just forgot about it immediately.

33:24

I thought, and she's gone on to be one

33:26

of the most interesting directors in the last 20

33:28

years. But everyone

33:30

always has a Gert Sophia Coppola in that film

33:33

as an actress. I did not realize how bad.

33:36

It is maybe the single worst performance I've ever seen in

33:38

a film. It's shocking. And it's meant

33:40

to be the emotional crux of that film and

33:42

it doesn't work. It doesn't help she's part of

33:44

this very odd incest storyline as well. Which

33:47

is just, what's going on here? It

33:51

just doesn't work and it's a shame because Al Pacino is

33:53

so good in it. And there's nothing like, actually Andy Lassie

33:55

is really good in it as well. But just like, that

33:57

was a great film. That

34:00

would be my advice to people like maybe you should watch it but like

34:02

if you... I would just don't

34:04

watch the Godfather Part 3, don't let that

34:06

be the enter story. The enter part 2

34:08

is a perfect enter story. So as someone

34:10

who also has only seen the first two

34:12

and has never seen the third one. You

34:15

know when you talk about like the first two

34:17

being kind of like this perfect six hour kind

34:19

of story in two parts. Is

34:21

the Godfather Part 3, is it the third chapter

34:23

of that story or does it feel like a

34:25

more divorced kind of film? It feels completely divorced

34:28

to me. It's towards

34:30

I think 1979 so it's quite a bit

34:32

later. And I

34:34

think a crutch is they don't bring back

34:37

Robert Duval because of pay issues

34:39

and not having Tom in there.

34:41

Tom Hagen is like he's a

34:44

crucial part of that story. It's actually needless

34:46

is what you're saying. Yeah, like they didn't

34:48

need this third part and it's all this

34:50

weird story with like some sort of like

34:53

a Vatican scheme as well like money

34:55

scheme. It's like largely set in like

34:57

it's just... It doesn't feel like

34:59

the third part of that story. There's a couple

35:01

of moments where they have like conversations

35:03

but I think it doesn't help that by the end

35:05

of part 2 and this isn't really spoiler anything. There's

35:08

not a lot of that family left to care about.

35:10

It's kind of Michael Corleone has

35:12

kind of destroyed it. So

35:15

yeah, it's just him. It was just such a

35:17

shame. I know this is at this point what

35:19

34 year old criticism but the Godfather Part 3.

35:23

I was so disappointed. I

35:26

think I ended up giving it 3000 yen because it's

35:28

still an okay film I think but compared

35:30

to those other two. Just

35:33

no. So at this point,

35:35

obviously fairly recently they recut

35:37

it, right? Yeah. Would

35:39

you want to watch that? Maybe

35:41

in a few years but I read what the difference

35:44

are. It doesn't sound like it's enough to make it

35:46

a better film. They recut the ending because the last

35:48

shot is embarrassing. It's

35:50

not. It's just... I

35:54

was watching and I was like, why? Why?

35:57

And I know why Coppola made it because he

35:59

literally had no money. and he needed it so

36:01

they were like can you make a third Godfather and this

36:03

is what happened. But yeah, it's

36:05

a shame Godfather was not through. He's got

36:07

such a strange filmography hasn't he? Like after

36:09

you do these, I always find it fascinating,

36:11

he's the guy that made Jack the film

36:13

where Robin Williams is like a man with

36:16

a boy. If

36:18

you look at the 70s, with Godfather Part

36:21

1, 2, The Conversation and Apocalypse

36:23

Now, four of the best films

36:25

ever made and then

36:27

after that it's like you get Dracula which

36:29

is fun. Jack is

36:31

good fun. But Jack is

36:33

where Robin Williams has to play a

36:36

five year old boy. It's

36:38

bizarre. We do have Megalopolis coming

36:41

this year apparently which he has put all

36:43

his own money into again so God knows

36:45

it could be a masterpiece, could be an

36:47

absolute mess. Either way I'm very excited. But

36:51

yeah, got a wub, what a bizarre career.

36:53

But one of the best for,

36:56

well if you like

36:58

70s films. Yeah

37:00

and anyway I rewatched this

37:03

week, also rewatched NOPE because the first

37:05

time I watched NOPE for Jordan Pills film it left

37:07

me really cold. I just didn't really gilm with it.

37:10

This time though for some reason I absolutely

37:12

loved it and I don't know if it's

37:14

because my expectations were

37:16

set this time around. I think the first time I watched

37:18

it I was ready for like with

37:21

Get Out and Ask You kind of, there was

37:23

that horror element and that kind of you're waiting

37:25

for the twist. There were always like extended Black

37:28

Mirror episodes if you want to really be redundant

37:30

too. But reductive even.

37:32

Whereas knowing

37:35

NOPE this time is just kind of a

37:37

real fun summer blockbuster like a split of

37:40

like a Close Encounters or a Jaws. I

37:42

feel like I enjoyed it so much more

37:44

knowing that alright this is what this is

37:46

and it's beautifully shot if you donate it's

37:48

shot by Hoyt of Anhoyt and

37:51

you can tell it's almost, some of the

37:53

locations almost look the same. I

37:56

just really really enjoyed it this time around. I think

37:58

knowing what it was and not having my

38:00

expectations set and I didn't quite take into

38:03

account how incredible that creature design is. If

38:05

you haven't seen it I won't spoil it.

38:07

Hi. The creature in the movie looks

38:09

like... I really don't like it. The first time I watched it I

38:11

was like, oh that's kind of cool but this time I was like,

38:13

oh this is like... I saw shots that

38:16

I felt like I didn't see last time. Maybe I just wasn't

38:18

in the mood or paying attention the first time I saw

38:20

it. But this time I was like, God

38:22

that is incredible. But yeah.

38:25

So no, it really didn't work for me and I

38:27

would be interested to rewatch it again because there are

38:29

many things that I've seen where it just didn't work

38:31

the first time round and second time it did. Well

38:34

I'm hearing us and

38:36

Get Out obviously have very

38:38

distinct kind of societal

38:41

tales within them. And I do remember

38:43

people really bigging up the idea of

38:45

NOPE being about kind of like spectacle

38:48

and how that affects

38:51

people in black society and how they've been treated.

38:54

And I never really... I couldn't latch

38:56

into that section of that film and I don't

38:58

know is it more obvious the second

39:00

time or is it actually not a bigger part of

39:03

the film? I don't think it is. I mean I

39:05

don't know. I don't know what Jordan Pils intentions are.

39:08

I feel like it's less apparent as in

39:10

those first two films. I think it is

39:12

there if you want to find it. But

39:14

I also think you can enjoy this one

39:17

just as like a fun monster film basically.

39:19

Whereas obviously the first two are like the

39:21

central conceit of those is exploration of that

39:23

kind of... I think actually a

39:25

stronger theme and it might be capitalism and how it

39:27

corrupts especially to do with

39:29

the Stephen Lund character. I was just

39:31

going to say about that. The whole side

39:33

story sort of metaphor section with the ape

39:36

or the monkey on this TV show.

39:39

That never really felt organic to me. It always

39:42

felt like I could see it on paper being

39:44

this white design. It worked for me better this

39:46

time because Stephen Young's character is this guy that

39:48

you can... I don't know. I saw

39:50

a lot... There's a really good scene where they're like in

39:52

his office and you can tell like oh it's all about

39:54

money isn't it? And you see like really weird how he

39:56

remembers that time. It's like Kind of

39:59

yeah how capitalism corrupts. I think is actually

40:01

the story, the film and the like the camera

40:03

man my higher to get the show of the

40:05

thing as well like I think that's more of

40:07

a song the thing threats also lied him once

40:09

again or this is a real good societal like.

40:12

B. C though Madison, I just got

40:14

really good form of this honestly upshot

40:16

beautifully. And Tiki Palmer's incredible. Like sees

40:18

his license related, everything's his in those

40:21

and he amazes by. yeah, Maybe.

40:23

She didn't like notes us our entry this

40:25

it does it work for member those and

40:27

credit is an incredible jump scare with them

40:29

with the kids and they're aiming costume yep

40:32

are a form of about really be in

40:34

effect in the cinema When I saw this

40:36

this yeah it just a hit me right

40:38

this but sometimes that happens if those i

40:40

i don't his like always. Offenses

40:42

follow his games. I kind of as so

40:44

I know within a few hours if the

40:46

game is ever gonna be for me lol

40:49

I won't every visit again. My fears layer

40:51

ago all I got this wrong. but with

40:53

films like I can we bases and be

40:55

like oh for some reason my opinions complete

40:57

engine. I dunno what at his. Them. And.

44:35

you've got a game for us. I mean,

44:37

I will be hosting a game

44:39

for you, but it actually comes from Andrew

44:41

Priest, who sent us an email 12

44:44

days ago saying, hi, IGN

44:47

crew. And you probably know March

44:49

the 8th is slash was International

44:51

Women's Day. So bearing this in mind and

44:53

also responding to Dale's desperate plea for more

44:55

ender searches. He wasn't desperate, right? You sounded

44:57

really, you're on the verge of tears from

44:59

what I heard. I

45:02

have put together an endless search

45:04

ladies day special, postponed it by

45:06

one week. All

45:09

you have to do is pick a number from

45:11

one to 10 to receive an actress. And then

45:13

you have to guess what four movies the mad

45:15

IMDB algorithm has assigned to us. So this is

45:17

a classic endless search game that we all we

45:19

all know and love, but

45:21

very entirely specifically for

45:25

women actress. One

45:27

point for a correct guess. If you

45:29

fail to guess all four, the other player

45:31

can then make one guess and effectively steal

45:33

the point. Respectlessly from Andrew. These

45:35

are always so tough. Here we go. It just you

45:38

know, you're going to get stuck with like an actress.

45:40

Some of these we may have had before as well,

45:42

and I still wouldn't remember. Yeah. While

45:44

we'll say he's definitely been generous

45:47

and these are all very, very well

45:49

known actors. That's a good start.

45:52

Who would like to go first? Well,

45:56

we got to choose. No, you can go first. Go

45:58

on. Seven. Seven.

46:00

Ooh, too obvious. It

46:03

is Kate Blanchett. Oh, okay.

46:07

Ooh, a lot of films there.

46:09

I get to steal right as well, don't I? You

46:12

do, yeah. Which...

46:15

Mm, do I rattle off all three

46:17

Lord of the Rings? Yeah. I'm

46:20

going to say The Fellowship of the Ring. That

46:24

is one of them, and it's movie number three. Nice.

46:26

Well done, well done. I do need to watch those again. I was

46:28

going to do it over Christmas, and I just didn't. I'm

46:34

just going to do it and say Two Towers.

46:37

No, not there. She isn't

46:40

Two Towers. I don't know. I

46:42

can't remember. She might be there for

46:44

her flush. Well, she's the

46:46

narrator of all of the intros, isn't she?

46:49

Yes. Um, Tarr. Yes,

46:52

Tarr is there.

46:54

Yeah. I've

46:56

only watched half of that. I do

46:58

want to watch the second half, it's because her

47:01

baby started kicking off, and we had to turn

47:03

it off. Because it's quite a quiet film, really.

47:05

It was the baby demanding that she got camped.

47:07

Yeah. Now, yeah,

47:09

we were on holiday, we were watching it, and then we were

47:11

like, we'll watch this another day, and then we just forgot. But

47:13

I need to get back to it. Um,

47:17

okay, now I'm blanking on things.

47:19

So, let's say I am on my phone here, but

47:21

I'm just checking the Champions League draw to see who

47:23

got who. Man City got Real Madrid. Mine got Arsenal.

47:25

P.S.G. in Barcelona, wasn't it? I think, maybe? There

47:28

we go. New for everyone there, I'm sure. Um, oh my

47:30

god, all I can think about is a film that's

47:32

not out yet, that's coming soon. A.K.A.

47:39

Borderlands. You

47:42

can't say that, it doesn't have films that are coming out,

47:44

does it? I don't know, to be honest, I don't know.

47:46

I don't think it does. No,

47:49

no, no, no, Borderlands. You just gave your dad a chance. You

47:51

let him down the garden path. Yeah, yeah. Um.

47:54

Oh, that's my fault. I guess that's your fault? Yeah, that's

47:56

my fault, yeah. There we go. So, Cardi, do you want

47:58

to try and steal the point? Do I

48:00

it's the classic head versus heart battle

48:02

like my head's telling me for

48:05

Ragnarok very popular Oh that she was in

48:07

my heart is saying Carol one

48:09

of my favorite films and

48:12

she's incredible in that which you want to go

48:14

follow my heart I'm gonna go with Carol. Yeah,

48:16

you go card. Yeah, that's a point for you. I love

48:19

that film You haven't seen Carol watch Carol. So

48:21

I forgot was tiring it Tar

48:24

was you say you've got you got two points for that you've got

48:26

the fellowship of the ring and tar Carol

48:28

was the one that Carly stole the point for

48:30

and blue Jasmine Would

48:33

have never said that in a million years. I

48:35

think she won Oscar for that as well very

48:37

possibly. Yeah Then

48:40

what would you like anything other than

48:42

seven four, please four of

48:44

that is Jennifer

48:46

Lawrence A

48:49

lot of different ones there and then again

48:51

do you go through the franchise or not?

48:54

I'm gonna go forward the hungry games the

48:56

hunger games is there. Yes, I

48:59

will take that one Silver

49:05

Linings playbook it's there Awards

49:13

for The tends

49:15

to be like big films and awards films, doesn't it? I'm

49:18

gonna go for a big breakout role in Winters

49:20

bone. It's not there. It should be there of

49:23

course, but it's not Oh

49:28

She just went for silver linings playbook, I thought she

49:30

won another one I think yeah, she She

49:35

was actually one for the Winters bone didn't she

49:37

yeah, I think I think she's not because she's

49:39

like one of the youngest actresses To ever win

49:41

a best. I didn't know Okay,

49:46

let's pick another big film Ah,

49:56

I'm actually gonna go for a film I really don't

49:58

like I don't like of these films are only David

50:01

O Russell. I'm gonna go for American

50:03

Hustle. It is American Hustle.

50:06

So I can steal right? You can steal

50:08

yeah but there's it's just

50:10

one film left. Right well

50:12

I was thinking American Hustle but I'm gonna say

50:14

Mother. It's not. Oh

50:17

I actually think Mother's probably the best piece

50:19

that she's ever been in. I know one

50:21

who's gonna hate it but I've only ever

50:23

watched it once. I do. One

50:25

day I'll revisit it and watch it again. You

50:29

put yourself through a lot don't you to

50:31

get through that. But it's

50:33

not Dale there. I'm afraid I'm afraid

50:35

you should have gone big big Hollywood.

50:37

It was X-Men first class. Two

50:40

to Dale for Ticardi. Dale.

50:43

Plenty to play for. Number

50:45

two please. Number two is Emma

50:49

Stone. Recently Oscar winning actress.

50:51

Is that in the top four?

50:56

Super bad. No

50:58

no. That was

51:01

a breakout though wasn't it? That

51:03

was a big hit.

51:06

I still love that film to death. La La

51:08

Land. La La Land is there.

51:11

I love that film to death. And

51:14

a completely other end of the spectrum Easy A.

51:17

Easy A is there. Also very good

51:19

film. Excellent film. That's great taste apart

51:21

from that one film where she played

51:24

a racially insensitive character.

51:26

I'm gonna go for one

51:29

you might not think about. Zombieland.

51:31

It's not there.

51:34

Hmm. What

51:37

do I want to deal with. Is it

51:39

too soon for it to be

51:41

there. I'm doing it that

51:44

poor thing. It is the head

51:46

card. You get five. Yeah.

51:48

And the other one was the help. Oh

51:53

that wasn't even the insensitive film I was thinking. I

51:55

was thinking of a low heart. I've

51:57

not seen. I've not seen a low heart. What

51:59

I have seen though is. I haven't mentioned it

52:01

on the podcast since finished it. I finished watching

52:03

the curse about a month or a half ago

52:05

Good in it. Okay now like She

52:08

is Phenomenal in that

52:10

like they feel is obviously very very

52:12

good in it But good Lord one

52:14

of my new ones layered

52:17

performance is it's so good and it

52:19

even Makes it

52:21

even not funny ever the whole what crops that

52:23

shows about taking things from indigenous people Yeah, she

52:26

beat Lily Gaston to the Oscar for best actress

52:28

which that is that is true You could see

52:30

the horror on her face when she won that

52:35

But I recommend the curse the last

52:37

episode is a masterpiece and should earn

52:39

many awards Dale

52:44

no, no, it's cardi. No, it's numbers you take

52:46

to I'll go one one Amy

52:51

Adams I'm

52:53

glad I didn't go perhaps

52:55

my favorite actress really

52:57

there. I think she's incredible Arrival

53:04

arrival is there of course is Catch

53:11

me if you can No,

53:14

oh That

53:16

was going early today. I thought it's a big

53:18

film though Yeah, I know how to say but

53:20

just that clay this T. Did they put TV

53:23

shows on this? They sometimes

53:25

have I think yeah Yeah,

53:27

and sometimes it's if they have a producer

53:29

or writing or directing credit which really froze

53:31

you Amy

53:34

Adams, Amy, I'm again go with my

53:36

heart with the master. The

53:38

master is there I'm

53:41

happy to hear it What

53:44

else my go for for Amy Adams I Think

53:52

she doesn't have that many like Blockbuster

53:55

Films if you don't like arrivals probably is

53:57

closer like a blockbuster. Film is a really

53:59

really. A my unless they've got that

54:01

rid of I think there's more Obviously I

54:03

had known as the guy and they have

54:05

marked as as most stay away the make

54:07

up at like us on going to go

54:09

for a weird one the say doubt. At

54:12

doubt a half an hour plus the

54:14

with a man of steel ah the

54:16

big one mile you you can try

54:18

still managed to. Be

54:21

my guess is the only reason I'm fit

54:23

and has completely forgot she was lowest later.

54:25

Bomb! Have a seat man. the movie no

54:27

known as lazy not have any of it.

54:30

Not another lava in sounds it and chances

54:32

54:36

less, That. Sony what they get

54:38

54:40

Seven Dale for. Osama

54:43

54:45

54:47

54:57

55:00

55:02

55:04

yes June Paul on his eyes of

55:06

55:10

55:12

55:14

55:22

Rogue Nation was Rogue Nation.

55:24

55:27

55:29

Dead reckoning. Dead reckoning is

55:31

not fair. Know how do

55:33

55:36

Either. Amoebic. I'm mister possible

55:38

55:42

56:08

item real for those any I'll go

56:10

ten. Ten. Sunday.

56:13

S. Or.

56:15

She was famously meaty, That

56:18

was the name of the films he was

56:20

me to. It's no accident, caused a lot

56:23

of look. I know what is the most

56:25

of the truth. So. It

56:28

might be been no I'm going say that.

56:30

shows though by the city's have anti think

56:32

of what films and day it was his

56:34

meat teeth as it I will go for

56:36

Jean Paul One it's not their how can

56:38

set aside. From

56:41

I would go for. I'm

56:44

having a complete blank him a hoax or can think

56:46

of is he said it does live tv shows. I

56:49

think I think I understand that can. Fit

56:52

thus a route to start I have a

56:55

her best role is a ti vo bob

56:57

not a complete blank Now. I'm

57:00

sketchy, party. Had you thought to

57:02

is not their dogs like. Sad

57:04

that I hail blanking on this

57:06

right now has made Prime still.

57:11

Mad to see in the great a segment

57:13

season, the great show and it is all

57:15

off as. A.

57:20

Sea of go Completely. Blank.

57:23

I'm off assume she's been in. I

57:27

know loads like coming up she's it was South

57:29

American. Have to say that the reason I'm not

57:31

gonna say that he has at i. Won't.

57:35

Miss that have got that Netflix. Go

57:37

Malcolm a Murray Is it a com

57:39

believe you chose know? Ah yes Malcolm

57:42

am a really nice little hey we're

57:44

supposed to be a renders the I

57:46

didn't watch it is meant to be

57:48

I had tied so which Spiderman film

57:50

The Power of A Guy got out

57:53

of office again oh this easier if

57:55

as I generally than I would from

57:57

the paper av en going to say

57:59

home. Homecoming, you can

58:01

have a point Dale. You

58:04

could have also had a point for Spider-Man Far From Home. I

58:06

can't forget she was in Spider-Man

58:08

Far From Home. Dale.

58:11

Yes. Six. Six

58:14

is Marco Robbie, who you've met?

58:17

I have met, it was very awkward. I bumped into her

58:19

in a corridor. Bobby.

58:23

Bobby is there, yes. The

58:27

Wolf of Wall Street. The

58:29

Wolf of Wall Street is

58:31

there. You're neck and neck now.

58:34

I'm going

58:36

to say focus.

58:40

Focus is not

58:42

there. Now

58:48

my mind's going blank, even though I know a

58:50

ton of films she's been in. Oh

58:53

god. Oh god. Oh the

58:55

film I did the Drunk

58:59

It for Birds and Prayers.

59:01

No. Oh it's going to be Dark Fucking

59:04

Suicide. I'm not, I'm going to avoid all the Suicide Squad

59:06

structures. I don't know whether to go The Suicide Squad or

59:08

Suicide Squad or any of those. So I'm just going to,

59:10

I'm going to ignore those. And I'm

59:13

going to go for a film she arguably should have

59:15

won an Oscar for in I, Tonya. Oh

59:18

it's right, yeah. And yeah, absolutely

59:21

astonishing film. The

59:23

other one would have been Suicide Squad

59:25

lacking the bad one. I probably would

59:27

have gone for, I don't know

59:29

which one I would have gone for actually. In my

59:31

heart, Babylon is there. Everyone needs to watch

59:33

Babylon. There is

59:36

not. Eight, has that

59:38

been taken? No, you can have that.

59:40

Scarlett Johansson. Oh,

59:48

which ones? Which ones? There's

59:50

so many films. Prestige?

59:58

It's not, no. Sorry, I had

1:00:00

to say it. It was always going to be

1:00:03

against you. Yeah, but you have to say it

1:00:05

if it get the opportunity Right

1:00:09

Scarlett Scarlett Johansson Scarlett

1:00:11

you How

1:00:14

many of them are going to be a Benches? Yeah, that's the

1:00:16

problem I'll

1:00:18

go Marvel's Avengers Yet

1:00:21

you can have that one ladies down here is Avengers

1:00:23

assemble, but that's what we call it Do

1:00:28

I go a bit off let's

1:00:30

go under the skin let's get crazy. Yeah, you can have

1:00:32

that Mr. Jonathan glazes

1:00:35

everyone's value eats ago astonishing. Love

1:00:37

it Let's

1:00:41

go Winter

1:00:43

soldier, it's not there. I'm

1:00:46

afraid. Oh now. What do I go for?

1:00:49

So my first instinct was to go for her I

1:00:52

really wanted to do that But

1:00:54

I think I'm gonna say ghost in the

1:00:56

shell No Should

1:00:59

have gone with you God

1:01:02

damn it because her is on there Rewatched

1:01:05

her recently as well. I liked

1:01:07

it the first time. So it really blew me away

1:01:09

second especially

1:01:11

post-covid watching And

1:01:14

then the final one you guys are

1:01:17

missing is you'll kick yourself it's lost

1:01:19

in translation What

1:01:22

a film I love films man, I just

1:01:24

love films I just

1:01:26

want to watch all these films now Is

1:01:29

it Dale isn't a nine? Isn't it? I think is the

1:01:31

last number you can have nine. Yeah, okay. I thought it

1:01:33

was the last one I think

1:01:35

I'm ending it on it. I think so. Yeah, so do

1:01:37

you want nine? Yes while the school by the way? Dale

1:01:41

is on nine card is on twelve Okay,

1:01:45

so number nine is Jessica Chastain That's

1:01:53

a hard one actually, yeah Genuinely,

1:02:01

I'm starting to question

1:02:05

if she's the person in those roles. This

1:02:08

game drives you mad. I

1:02:11

want to say she's in Molly's game, that's her right? It

1:02:14

is and it is on the list. Yeah, happy game.

1:02:18

Surprised? I've

1:02:21

only got one in my head that's absolutely

1:02:23

love but I can't think of any more.

1:02:25

Yeah, I'm genuinely really struggling with

1:02:27

this one. Oh God.

1:02:31

I'm telling you now, say what have you in? That

1:02:34

is mad, I can't believe it. I

1:02:37

am blanking so much. You're in the situation

1:02:39

that I'm in most of the time when we

1:02:41

do this game. We haven't even got the fallbacks

1:02:43

because he's never really even gone like the superhero

1:02:45

route with it. Wasn't she? Unless I'm going completely

1:02:48

blank. No, I'm getting her mixed up with someone

1:02:50

else there. I've

1:02:52

got one and I just hope you don't say it basically.

1:02:56

Yeah, my mind will

1:02:58

just not process this so I think I

1:03:00

have to concede at this point. Fuck.

1:03:04

I was going to say the film American Hustle and I know she's

1:03:06

not in it but I'm just going to say it because it was

1:03:08

in my mind. American

1:03:11

Hustle, no. I

1:03:13

will still hopefully with Zero Dark Thirty.

1:03:16

Hey, you're going to get a point for Zero

1:03:18

Dark Thirty and there you go. What the hell

1:03:20

is this? I'm going to kick myself when you

1:03:22

do. Interestingly, they

1:03:25

are a most violent year

1:03:27

and the help. Oh, I

1:03:29

would have never heard of that. Which is interesting because she's

1:03:31

obviously mirth in Interstellar. Oh

1:03:34

my God. What? That's not on

1:03:36

there. Yeah, and

1:03:38

when you say that she didn't do the

1:03:40

sell out and do a superhero sort of

1:03:42

thing or whatever, she's actually in Dark Phoenix

1:03:44

because I've interviewed Jessica Chappellin. Oh my God.

1:03:47

I just never thought that film happened. No

1:03:49

memory of that. And also, you know, in

1:03:51

terms of other massive things like because she

1:03:53

has been in big things recently, she was

1:03:55

in It Chapter Two because she's the older version

1:03:57

of Everly. I've still never seen Chapter Two. You

1:04:00

don't need to. You don't need to. Yeah,

1:04:02

it's not. She's like, he's not. I just

1:04:04

couldn't. When you lift off the film, it's

1:04:06

like, yeah. I didn't actually see many. There we go.

1:04:08

That was definitely the hardest one. Okay. Ten

1:04:11

to thirteen, Cardi leading. One

1:04:14

more for fun. Yeah. One for

1:04:16

five then. Yeah, that's it. Charlie's

1:04:18

Thrawn. Mad Max Fury Road.

1:04:22

Yep, you can have that one. Let's

1:04:25

just go with some quick.

1:04:27

Let's do Atomic Blonde. Nope.

1:04:30

What else? Oh,

1:04:33

Witch, Fast and Furious is shit. I'm

1:04:36

not going to say that actually. Again, I'm

1:04:38

going blank on Charlie's Thrawn films. Ooh,

1:04:41

I've got a juicy one. Let's go.

1:04:44

Charlie's, what are you in? I've

1:04:46

actually seen that many Charlie's Thrawn films. Oh,

1:04:49

I'm thinking, oh, I can think of my head is arrested development.

1:04:53

Oh. Mr. F. I'm

1:04:58

going mad. I'll

1:05:00

go fast ten. I'll go

1:05:03

for the most recent fast. It's not on the list.

1:05:07

I'm going absolutely mad. Make

1:05:10

sure you want to kill yourself. What is? Especially

1:05:12

when the person who's not under pressure is so easy

1:05:14

to come up with stuff. Yeah. What?

1:05:19

Charlie's, Charlie's speak to me.

1:05:24

I'll just pass off one anyway. I'm

1:05:26

just wasting time. Monster.

1:05:29

Yeah, Dale Monster. Prometheus as well, maybe?

1:05:31

It's not on there, no. The

1:05:35

other ones would have been Snow White and the

1:05:37

Huntsman and Tully. Okay, yeah, I

1:05:39

wouldn't have. There you go. Dale

1:05:42

gets 11, but Cardi takes it with 14.

1:05:44

Good game, good game. Well played. Well played.

1:05:46

I enjoyed it. And I hope those listening

1:05:48

who want the under search also enjoyed it.

1:05:50

And if you didn't, I'm sorry. But

1:07:23

as. I

1:07:26

say bigger of the say. I also didn't

1:07:29

think I could vibe of much J even

1:07:31

more, but Oxymoron is a phenomenal album. Die

1:07:33

still listen to Regulate Respect the see right

1:07:35

1:07:38

I still battle a battle between meat

1:07:40

1:07:42

bow. The hopefully mean if Russia had

1:07:44

a side which is bad I still

1:07:46

feel like John Travolta lives up a

1:07:48

my bad space for ever done any

1:07:50

is edited he says I was I

1:07:52

so many times. that is as if

1:07:54

I really hope that timid the. Tenure of

1:07:57

Us. Oh really? What it once again out at the

1:07:59

Us is yet. A view. Tried to

1:08:01

pronounce like Zadeja's name or something and get

1:08:03

it completely wrong. It's

1:08:07

the way he obviously stumbles but just goes with it.

1:08:09

He doesn't correct himself. Oh, it's amazing. Just

1:08:12

amazing. Along

1:08:14

a similar theme, I've got an email from Francis Jackson

1:08:16

who says, Hi all, hope you're having a splendid week

1:08:19

so far. Hearing your best

1:08:21

of 2014 episode was certainly an eye opener as

1:08:23

it made me go bloody hell that came out

1:08:25

10 years ago. I was one year away from

1:08:27

completing my law degree in university which feels like

1:08:29

a lifetime ago. Looking

1:08:31

back at 2014 in terms of entertainment, I realised

1:08:33

there were quite a few things I enjoyed that

1:08:36

are as follows. Best RPG, Dragon

1:08:38

Age Inquisition was my game of the year. A

1:08:40

fantastic return to the world of Dragon Age. I

1:08:42

loved Origins and while too was still good, it

1:08:44

was disappointing. An Inquisition felt like a return

1:08:46

to form and actually connected to Dragon Age

1:08:49

2 quite strongly and it

1:08:51

actually connected quite strongly. Hoping

1:08:53

Dread Wolf can be as good. Best action

1:08:55

game, Shadow of Mordor. The first time we

1:08:58

saw the Nemesis system. Also a very good shout. Why

1:09:00

haven't you seen the Nemesis system more? That

1:09:03

was my me-abigmant. Best

1:09:05

drama film, Wimp Lash. Technically released

1:09:07

in 2015 in the UK so instead of getting my

1:09:09

vote. Correcting me there. Don't appreciate

1:09:11

that. I'm Canada as a 2014 film from Francis. Bye,

1:09:15

appreciate it. Best action thriller, The Winter

1:09:17

Soldier. Still my favourite Marvel film. Good

1:09:20

pick. Did we not say that? I feel

1:09:22

like that was in several of my categories as a backup option. I

1:09:24

thought we said The Winter Soldier maybe. Anyway,

1:09:26

current. Right, I don't know. Best TV series.

1:09:28

The little TV I watched at the time

1:09:30

it was Game of Thrones season 4 which

1:09:32

was superb and the anime Space Dandy which

1:09:34

is anime Red Wolf. I've not heard of

1:09:36

that. I'm sure Matt Jones has. Wild

1:09:39

Card. Despite not liking the film, that

1:09:41

first The Force Awakens teaser was pretty special. I have

1:09:44

to admit you got someone agreeing with you there now.

1:09:47

Best album. Here we go.

1:09:49

I'm a snob when it comes to music. The

1:09:51

21st Century music is 99 An- Anes- I don't

1:09:53

know that word. An-a-famer?

1:09:59

An-es-a-mer. The next summer to me.

1:10:01

Not good so and money for seen

1:10:04

I listen to. A grand total of

1:10:06

two albums was Pink Floyd, The Endless

1:10:08

River which like anything post the phone

1:10:10

case decent but nothing special and the

1:10:12

other was Oh Pests, Pale Communion which

1:10:14

takes my vote. Opus Album since Twenty

1:10:16

Eleven have moved away from the death

1:10:18

knell sounds the premise that s what.

1:10:20

However, this remains an excellent album nonetheless.

1:10:22

As always, respect the sea and have

1:10:24

a lovely weekend There we go. Appreciate

1:10:26

the full answer to the categories that.

1:10:29

Would. You have a with this inquisition with been

1:10:31

your rpg my you're a big Rpg fan or

1:10:34

would you would you from sign else in the

1:10:36

of yeah of of i had I do remember

1:10:38

like a dragon age inquisition quite a lot that

1:10:40

yes but mostly when I think of twenty fourteen

1:10:42

i was just from and black alien isolation and

1:10:45

and been wolf and stein their the kinda to

1:10:47

big games that are out that yeah know that

1:10:49

into the windows release of fun a fancy thirteenth.

1:10:54

If you know Fps Tiger Wisdom

1:10:56

come out earlier as getting interested.

1:10:58

Zaza a success! I guess

1:11:00

a funky francis money but lost the

1:11:02

know I do. Yes, so much James

1:11:04

Griffiths he says hi All I'm after

1:11:07

a new single player Rpg to get

1:11:09

into on the steam deck Have narrowed

1:11:11

it down to. Eva. Phone

1:11:13

offences have a remake what is currently

1:11:15

thirty Five Pounds on Steam You Coups

1:11:17

Zero which is a fiber on steam,

1:11:19

Fallout New Vegas which is three Pounds

1:11:22

on Steam which is the best and.

1:11:24

Of. What was her? Which one is the best

1:11:26

and which is the best value for money.

1:11:29

I've never played any of them while cause

1:11:31

perhaps I should do the original fun of

1:11:33

on see seven percent the seats from James

1:11:35

in Stoke interesting question of his of Florida

1:11:37

sets you know Suicide Office the deck. can

1:11:39

he play game? Pass on your steam that

1:11:41

I think if you get a big creative

1:11:43

we had a lawyer operating by normal nannies.

1:11:45

okay by that gets one wire up to

1:11:47

that the with something a little you looking

1:11:50

for more of a action Rpg from those.

1:11:53

Those. Lists: They're often time base. I

1:11:55

was full on toes baffa term base

1:11:57

personally, but each yeah, I don't know

1:11:59

what sticks. Like com this. I've never used

1:12:01

to steam deck so I think I don't think

1:12:03

good sticks would mean that. If you know if

1:12:05

I would recommend. I've seen

1:12:07

a fool out of i don't think massively

1:12:09

requires the sticks I because you very rarely

1:12:11

uses box out yeah can also play that

1:12:13

game and like aside dollar can be nice

1:12:15

and gay south I have a lot combine

1:12:17

Canada with them and give us was I

1:12:20

would he says besotted for mates overseas. Follow.

1:12:22

Indicator of how to eat some by i'm

1:12:24

for yeah semi remake is are you get

1:12:27

in that doesn't mean if you do for

1:12:29

of it by time finish it might rebuff

1:12:31

might have been discounted busy to stay on

1:12:33

to it or not sure honor thy something

1:12:35

you will one at like is very frantic

1:12:38

action so honest thing that I'm not sure

1:12:40

I don't know performance wise or even yeah

1:12:42

attic wise how is it is officer little

1:12:44

older now but the remake this on pcs

1:12:47

the Ps Vita version of remake so it's

1:12:49

it's quite bc and another the steam decks

1:12:51

quite capable. But you will absolutely

1:12:53

definitely rodent. Decrease Zero For a new

1:12:55

Vegas and the original foreign countries have

1:12:57

an honor I would I see like

1:12:59

I don't. And maybe. Recommends that

1:13:01

you already played here by science and this non

1:13:03

here but. As you say the like

1:13:05

a dragon yeah she's like a dragon because

1:13:07

it's ten base made might be a better

1:13:10

option and I think is just as good

1:13:12

an entry point into. like a Dragon That

1:13:14

means your sub infinite wealth after as low

1:13:16

as a little yeah I think Sawyer that

1:13:18

was one of the questions. Heroes these games

1:13:20

is what are you looking for out of

1:13:22

an Rpg because if you just one kind

1:13:24

of like a Thirty Grams story, if it's

1:13:26

story and characters you're looking for that kind

1:13:28

of like those you Cruises and Final Fantasy

1:13:30

games. probably what you're looking to get into.

1:13:32

but if you want something that's a bit

1:13:34

more. Huge. Amounts to explore. lot

1:13:36

of you know on on on on

1:13:39

the train with the steam that can

1:13:41

I just kind of defense and for

1:13:43

new Vegas is much better suited to

1:13:45

Wagner. You can join him to find

1:13:47

a whole to poke around with her

1:13:49

for twenty minutes and then you've got

1:13:51

the wider kind of societal elements way

1:13:53

of putting all the factions against the

1:13:55

era of his most. It's much more

1:13:57

scale of old and the other games

1:13:59

all. Maybe you genuinely feel like you

1:14:01

want the freedom to build

1:14:03

your own character and make your own

1:14:05

choices. I'd say Final Fantasy 7 Remake

1:14:08

is pretty far away from that really.

1:14:10

It's RPG in levels and ability kind

1:14:12

of alone really. And linear action game

1:14:15

for a lot of it. All

1:14:17

very good games though. You can't really... I think you

1:14:19

will have a good time working in a pit there.

1:14:21

Out of all of those I would pick Fallout New Vegas

1:14:23

because it will definitely run on your Steam Deck. It's

1:14:27

compatible in terms of because you use Vaps you

1:14:29

don't have to worry about if the sticks aren't

1:14:31

accurate enough for really good shooting. It's

1:14:33

probably the best Fallout game. And

1:14:37

there's a Fallout TV show coming up and you might

1:14:39

want to play that to get in the vibe. My

1:14:42

annoying option would be get Yakkoos or

1:14:44

Lycra Dragon. Something that's like 15 quid

1:14:47

and it's 60-70 hours of great turn

1:14:49

based RPG. You know I've played the Persona

1:14:51

games as well. Get those on your Steam

1:14:53

Deck. Perfect. There we go. There

1:14:56

we go. IGN underscore

1:15:01

all of your feedback

1:15:03

1:15:06

anything really. What

1:15:08

music should we have today? What should we go for?

1:15:10

Gosh we just played Ballet? Yeah perfect perfect. Perfect.

1:15:13

Well it's always a good time to apply. Also before

1:15:15

we head off I just want everybody to know that

1:15:17

there was a trailer that came out

1:15:22

the other day for a film with Jennifer Lopez

1:15:25

in it. And it's not a video game movie

1:15:27

but it is so much like a video

1:15:29

game that you wouldn't believe it and you

1:15:32

would never guess what video game style thing

1:15:34

that Jennifer Lopez is in. It's

1:15:36

called Atlas. It's going to be on Netflix. Go

1:15:38

and surprise yourself. Okay. This

1:15:41

is completely passing by so you're a... You

1:15:43

will not believe that this is a Jennifer Lopez

1:15:45

movie when it gets going. It's like what is

1:15:47

she doing in this? Okay I'm going to watch

1:15:49

that straight after this. Good

1:15:52

chat everybody. Let's all hear the best
