This week’s guest is Matt Draper. Matt is an Internationally acclaimed underwater fine art photographer, who uses his images to spread awareness about environmental issues, as well as foster love for the ocean by replacing fear with fascination.

Matt left his life in the mines behind to chase his dream of becoming a photographer. He now spends his days in the water with 40 tonne whales, majestic tiger sharks and killer whales. Matt’s approach to photography is that he wants to portray the animal in its natural habitat with no interference, so he free dives underwater with nothing but a camera.

In this interview we talk about Matts whole life journey and he shares some beautiful insight into what it feels like being up close and personal with some of the largest animals in the world.
