In 1975, an outbreak of arthritis-like symptoms started afflicting the people of Lyme, Connecticut, including the youth.  In 1881, a bacterium in ticks was discovered to be the culprit behind the condition now called Lyme Disease.  Finding that one answer led to numerous questions.  How did the ticks start carrying this bacterium?  Why did the disease seem to start affecting humans in 1975?  And what role did the United States Biological Weapons Program play in the outbreak?
