As a music nerd, this right up my alley. Thoughtful and intelligent commentary and very well produced. Usually the format is the dissection of a recording, highlighting details that the presenter likes. I'm interested in about 70% of the songs he chooses, so that's a pretty good strike rate.

If you've ever thought, "I love this song" but you can't put your finger on what makes it great, then you've come to the right podcast. Like How Stuff Works for music.....I enjoy how they dig into why some amazing songs work for the listener. Whether it's highlighting reverb, or a unique riff, it is both informative and enjoyable to hear them break down a song and then play it back in its full musical glory.

A master class in podcasting! The host breaks down the different parts of a song to illustrate styles, techniques, production choices, etc. and why they are effective. Never gets too "inside baseball" or technical so every music fan can enjoy this one.

Along with Bizarre Albums, this is my go-to music podcast. Absolutely love it: informative and entertaining. My only complaint is that the host's voice is absurdly quiet at times. The music in comparison is roaring loud, and then Brad Page will mumble something in his calm, affable voice, and I have absolutely no idea what he said.

Brad is an excellent host who clearly loves the music he presents. One of my favourite podcasts.

Brad pours his heart into these songs. The passion is palpable. I love listening to his detailed analysis with his love of the songs.
