Self-awareness  helps us to become more aware of our feelings, thoughts, and behaviours so we can better understand them.  We become more accepting of ourselves and others because we understand where our behaviour comes from.  The outer world is a reflection of the inner world. Other people's perception of you is a reflection of them; your response to them is an awareness of you.  Be present in all things and thankful for all things.
