ill Clinton’s famous sentence to George Bush Sr “It’s the Economy Stupid” became famous considering the times and the context. Context was appropriate as the country was going thru its recessionary period and times were tough. Well today, times are different. Times are good but we face different challenges that test our confidence. I chose to take a swing at that sentence with the present day context in business. When it comes to business, one still finds blaming the peripherals. “It’s not the Economy “Stupid””, which will address regularly the need to educate businesses everything to know in a simple and practical sense including the various complexities of the current challenges. It practically yells to stop blaming the economy or outside elements but to look closely internally to establish a “Smart” process to achieve the desired results. Important to know the realities on the ground and managing expectations for the future.
