Christiana Figueres is a global authority on climate change. She champions a positive outlook on the climate crisis- that if we make change now, the world will not only survive, it will adapt and thrive – albeit in a very different way.Ms Figueres has been credited with creating a new brand of collaborative diplomacy. In her role as the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change she brought together disparate groups, national and sub-national governments, corporations and activists, financial institutions and communities of faith. She led the process to deliver the historical Paris Agreement of 2015.
