Wish there was more!
This is an audio experience to be sure! A movie for the mind! Fantastic story, incredible voice acting and the audio sound atmosphere is steller. You feel like you are right there in the thick of it!
This podcast kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Insightful and well casted.
A great podacst to listen to during car rides. I loved it. Just has the right amount of all the emotions. Finished all the episodes back to back. Definitely recommend!
Wow! This was intense! I'm not usually into Gothic horror, but this has sci-fi vibes, a riveting plot and fantastic acting. Just wish I hadn't binged the whole thing so quickly. I hope it returns for another season.
Merging a post-apocalyptic survival thriller with a vampire drama might sound a little too much, but actually it makes perfect sense. Vampires have been living amongst us, hiding in the shadows, since the beginning of time. But now, after a meteor strike has caused the sky to darken, the tables are turned. Now it’s humans who must live underground and vampires have free reign to hunt them down. The story centres on the relationship between two sisters; the older one has been trained to fight and capture vampires; the younger one is bored of living underground and intrigued by the life of vampires. It is brilliantly plotted with good, realistic sounding dialogue. It’s the rounded characters and overall sound design which really made this such an engaging listen.
Incredible production, the best I've heard to date. Story is a typical post-apocalyptic survival story with vampires, very "World of Darkness" / Blade / interview with the Vampire. You can tell it's an Audible production, not indie at all. Very entertaining, good writing, superb acting, fantastic sound design. Very recommendable for those who enjoy vampire stuff.
I've been watching and listening to American movies and TV shows since I was a little girl, so an British Cast was a challenge for me, because I simply love the American way of speaking. I'm very glad I decided to try something new, because after listening to the first two episodes I got used to the British tone and pronunciation, and you know what? I was pleasantly surprised by a very exciting and well produced gothic, Vampire, horror Podcast. It kind of felt like xmas came early this year and i got just what i wanted , even if i did not know that i needed it 🤣I am ready for season 2. Bring it on 👍
Really good. Characters are likeable, voice acting is exceptional, the world is interesting and mysterious.
I binged the entire first season in one day. I hope it's the first season. One of the best narrative podcasts I've listened to. Great story, characters, recording, editing, and performances. Impact Winter is full of unexpected twists and surprises. They could get a little more from the binaural audio, but otherwise loved it and hope to hear more soon.
