Offshot from the main story but a interesting one, explains that the sex offender registry was brought up by this case and the bill to introduced by the mother of the victim. However from the interview with a sex offender that had served his sentence, it was portrayed that it caused more harm than benefits, for those that had did their time by making it harder for them to integrate into society with the stigma assigned to it. IMO the registry should not have been made public or at least the category to define sex offenders should be narrowed to remove something as harmless as peeing in public.
