This is one of the best examples of good reporting I've yet to listen to on a podcast. The facts raised about clearance rates within county sheriff offices in this episode are stark and eye-opening, and should definitely start a conversation about the reliability of sheriffs within county law enforcement.
This is the best episode in the season, even the interview with the sheriff itself is amazing. I would have downright bust a gasket from how she pushed the questions. The monologue towards the end summing up the inefficiencies of the sheriff department, how no oversight was required and clearance rate was really really good. Looking forward to the next season after the next episode.
