In this episode of IN THE MIND OF we feature Robert Panariello, MS, PT, ATC, CSCS Chief Clinical Officer at Professional Physical Therapy. We discuss the Hierarchy of Athletic Development which is the basis of Professionals' treatment philosophy. Rob also shares his advise for new clinicians looking for long term success in their clinical careers.

Robert Panariello MS, PT, ATC, CSCS is a Founding Partner and Chief Clinical Officer at Professional Physical Therapy presently with over 180 facilities in 5 states as well as the 20,000 square foot state of the art Professional Athletic Performance Center located in Garden City, New York.  Rob has over 40 years of experience in the related fields of Sports Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, and the Performance Enhancement Training of Athletes. His experience includes the study of the science and art of coaching with National team weightlifters and various National sport team athletes in Bulgaria, the former Soviet Union, and the former East Germany. He previously held the positions as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at St. John’s University of New York, the World League of American Football NY/NJ Knights, and the WUSA NY POWER Women’s Professional Soccer League.

Rob has more than 60 peer reviewed Orthopedic and Sports Medicine research, Sports Physical Therapy research, and Strength and Conditioning journal, book chapter, and book publications. This includes co-editor of a special rehabilitation issue of the journal Operative Techniques in Sports Medicine and his co-authored books The System, Soviet Periodization Adapted for the American Strength Coach, and Basketball Anatomy.
