Introducing  In the pursuit of my માતૃભાષા, مادری زبان , मातृभाषा, Mother Tongue (formerly known as The Mother Tongue Over and Above the English Language) with Safiya Amina.

I'm Safiya Amina, the founder and editor of ૧૦:૧૦ Press (now ceased) and author of 06-C-33.

A trailer to introduce the rhythm and rhyme of how the podcast will be: in English and alternating between my mother tongue of Gujarati, then Hindi or Urdu. You may notice the podcast has changed and now features only pairings, writers who compliment each other. This podcast will probably always evolve to match its own rhythm.

The subject matter will be the writing I adore and admire of others. Essays, poetry, fiction and non-fiction originally written in my mother tongue or English.
