Today I had an opportunity to interview Nevriye Yesil who is a substance abuse advisor, author and entrepreneur.

Nevriye Yesil is a remarkable individual making a profound impact on the lives of others through her extensive knowledge and compassionate approach. With a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from the prestigious University of North Dakota, Nevriye has dedicated her career to helping those in need.

For many years, she provided guidance and support to incarcerated women and individuals in her community who were battling drug addiction. Through her unwavering commitment and empathetic nature, Nevriye knows how to empower and guide individuals towards recovery and beyond.

Today, Nevriye's passion has led her to a new chapter in her journey. She imparts her wisdom and expertise as a coach and mentor, focusing on empowering mothers and teens through workshops and comprehensive courses, both in-person and online, spanning across different corners of the world. Her teachings encompass high-performance skills, and she delves into crucial topics such as stress management, anxiety, trauma, and anger, equipping her students with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with resilience and strength.

Nevriye's impact extends beyond the classroom. Her dedication to sharing knowledge and bringing about positive change has inspired her to author her third book in America in 2023, ‘Mom, Help Me! Roadmap to Guiding Your Teen Away from Substance Use & Addiction’. This book offers evidence-based tools and strategies on prevention as well intervention and highlights the importance of prompt intervention without loosing valuable time that can be the difference between life and death.
