Women have been traditionally overlooked as founders and investors in a predominantly male-dominated space - but those days are coming to an end.
Today we welcome Randi Zuckerberg, CEO of Zuckerberg Media and an active entrepreneur and advisor, having invested in over 50 startups.
Before founding her own company, Randi was an early employee at Facebook, where she is best known for creating Facebook Live - which is now used by more than 2 billion people around the globe.
However, she spent her career in Silicon Valley feeling like the only woman in every room, desperately clawing her way up and trying to earn the kind of respect men usually enjoy in the workspace.
But Randi believes the future looks brighter for women in tech, as today, many more women are starting to become founders, building and supporting startups, and creating more diverse and organized communities.
In this episode of Profit to the People, Randi shares valuable advice for women interested in investing and talks about how the blockchain and crypto industry allows more women to access the space and thus the means to become entrepreneurs.
