I am wishing everyone a Happy New Year. This is the very first episode where there is no guest.  It's just me Alexis Lete, Miss Indiana USA 2020. It has been a slight fear of mine to come on my own podcast alone because of feelings of not being good enough, doubt, not knowing what to talk about and many more inadequate excuses. This year all my fears I am hitting them straight on and tackling them because growth only happens outside the comfort zone.

A girl from my club volleyball team passed on Christmas due to cancer and she told a friend, "If we can have fear and believe in something we don't see, then we can have faith too." That rocked me and made me realize that instead of looking at things with fear and negative "what ifs" I need to start looking at them with faith as optimistic "what ifs". 

Last year made me realize how resilient we are as humans. It is time to get uncomfortable in the pursuit of new goals and happiness.
