Formerly the head of creative at a top US beverage company, Paul Kidd was pushing hard for career growth. And then, a life- and career-changing moment: he decided to be vulnerable and un-cover his so-called 'dark-side traits' for all to see. He gave permission to his team to call him out for being, in his words, "a jerk" - so that he could be a better leader.
