Our Inspiring Educator today is a high school physics teacher at the Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois.  Mr. Tom Henderson has been teaching physics and chemistry since 1989 and a pioneering developer of an online tutorial guide for students and educators.  As the creator of the popular physics site, “The Physics Classroom”,  Tom has been working tirelessly on the development of the website since 1996. When not teaching and not working on The Physics Classroom, Tom enjoys time with his family, gardening, home projects, reading, and outdoor activities.  

Tom joins Inspiring Educators to share his journey as a teacher and his approach and philosophy on engaging and motivating his students.
