This is the first episode of the Investing Empowerment podcast. In this episode I discuss a little about my background and explain why I am qualified to talk about business and finance. One of the major reasons for starting the podcast is to convey finance related information of which people should be aware, but are not. Having taught at colleges and universities for over 20 years, I believe that knowledge is power. The way one group of people has more power over others is by keeping them in the dark. This is done by politicians, bankers, attorneys and others professionals.
Many people talk about “conspiracy theories”. I do not believe that things are that complicated. Information for most things is available if a person is willing to do some research. However, people as a whole do not want to perform the research. Instead, they feel that information should be handed to them freely. Not only do politicians and businesses not have an obligation to provide the information, doing so could put them out of a job. The purpose of this and future podcasts are to enlighten. The podcast is also related to my book “Invest With As Little As $100: A Guide to Investing in Financial Instruments”, which can be found at www.InvestWith100.net.
