Socio-evoking factors play a prominent role in emigration patterns. The cities are lively with various establishments and energizing opportunities but a move to the city comes with hefty price tag; cost of living, family relations, space available to raise a family, and others. I believe the pandemic with all of its unfortunate consequences, had showed the resilient nature of some companies/industries. One interesting shift is the work from home approach which has saved industries from total collapse. As a result, it’s understandable why professionals are considering relocating to cheaper places as they don’t have to consider length of commute as a factor in home selection.
