Brian had already spent most of life in prison when I met him. The youngest of 13 kids all given up for adoption by his indigenous mother who had suffered the trauma of residential school in Northern Alberta. Now back in prison, he is taking a spiritual journey inward, digging through the darkness for light, life, meaning, and truth.
