I/O is an original narrative podcast from Phantom Customer Media. In a near future San Francisco, the haves and have-nots struggle for control of an experimental device called Archive—an ingenious tool that can "record" matter, like a reel of tape, then rewind it to make what is old and dying like new again. When inventor Adnan Lem struggles to deliver what his unique technology promises, a visitor from his past (and his future) starts him on a new path forward.

I´m in awe of the first episode of I/O. What really impressed me at first was the effortless way it shifts between timelines in the story without ever loosing the listener. The sound design is so clever. Then I paid attention to the natural feel of the dialogue and the skillful acting. And by then I was helplessly hooked by the amazing story. I immediately liked Adnan, the story feels fresh and new and I'm so excited to hear what comes next

nitebeing

really good sound design & music, overall good acting, but ultimately it feels extremely rushed & hollow. the characters didn't have any dimension to them so it was really hard to care what happened to any of them. I didn't find the storyline engaging or inspiring & it rushed along way too fast, all coming out as a (lovely sounding, yet) garbled mess, esp with the poorly explained time elements.
