"This is not the podcast you're looking for. At least, it isn't if you are like me and looking for The History of Rome except Ireland. You're looking for a narrative history that starts at the beginning and traces the main threads of Irish history through time. This is not that. It is random things from randomly selected times. That makes it pretty nearly impossible to assemble a mental picture of the course of Irish history. It is rather like trying to follow the plot of a novel by reading chapter 3, then chapter 10, then chapter 6,7 and 8, then chapter 1. You get the idea. This is not a history of Ireland. It is an Irish history. They are not the same thing."
