Is writing about the lives of others a morally dubious enterprise? Novelist and essayist Andrew O'Hagan's subjects have included missing persons and deceased children long forgotten to all but their parents. In discussion with Hugh Linehan and Fionn Davenport he says that life stories belongs to everyone, not just the people who live them - or their loved ones.
