"You could have anything you want but you can't have everything you want. We can't have everything we had in the past and reinvent our organisation" says Dr. Natalie-Jane Macdonald (CEO of Sunrise Senior Living, UK) in this week’s Forum, the first episode in our second series, ‘Navigating New Seas’. She joined Stephen Langton (Managing Director of Russell Reynolds Associates, Singapore) on our first forum to bring a global perspective on leadership right now. Stephen described many of the changes we're seeing and the impact these are having on leadership; "where we're seeing the most profound changes is an inversion of the priorities of stakeholders, a change in what's acceptable in style, and a change in the horizons that leadership is working on". Our panelists speak to renowned business journalist Andrew Patterson alongside Dr Geoff Lorigan (Founder & Director of the Institute for Strategic Leadership, New Zealand) as they share their unique insights over the past few months and how they are leading their organisations into a ‘new normal’.
