Matt Jacobson is the director of sales and Marketing for Summit Natural Gas in Maine.  Jacobson attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis MD and then served as a pilot in the United States Air Force.

He has had a varied business career, head of a railroad company, leader of a lobster marketing co-op, head of Maine & Company - a business whose sole goal was to attract new industry to Maine.

In each case, the business entities fought the battle of energy vs environment and that is the battle we discuss on this week's podcast.

Jacobson is a frequent guest on my morning show and offers this conclusion when it comes to the energy battles in our country.  "There are no solutions.  There are simply trade-offs."
