Didn't Ice Cube drop one of the greatest dis songs of all time in his joint "No Vasline" back in October 1991? More importantly, he himself famously spit, "...now let's play big bank take little bank..." to describe his takedown of his former group N.W.A. Cube thought his departure from the trailblazing Compton crew would ultimately hurt the quality of their music, as well as their potential earnings. As the all-time great rapper continues to fight for his professional basketball league BIG3, he's now bewildered that the NBA isn't onboard with his brand of half-court ball having a lucrative future. Not at the expense of the Association's cement market share! Now Cube, via his BIG3 co-owner Jeff Kwatinetz's Outkick hit-piece article, throws another flurry at the NBA and white men who had to have dissuaded the WNBA-bound Caitlin Clark from taking eight figures for two seasons under the BIG3 banner. Sorry but Wood sees both Cube and Kwatinetz's arguments as tantamount to boxer Ryan Garcia's recent dirty dealings with Devin Haney in their April 20, 2024 "championship" boxing showdown where Garcia skirted the contract - as well as boxing professionalism.
