Shawn Shafner is an artist, educator, and event facilitator.Shafner is a teaching artist in New York City schools and community centers, specializing in arts integration, “green” programming, early childhood, students with special needs, and mindfulness coaching for entire schools.Shafner founded The POOP Project, which uses art, theater and education to spread awareness about sustainable sanitation. The project has produced four shows, and Shafner has hosted its podcast, "SHHH: The Poopcast."Shafner is also a founding member of the Constellation Chor Ensemble.Shafner received his B.F.A. in Drama from New York University.
