   Our It’s YOUR Agri Business Show---shared story lines that mentioned big towns and my little country towns as well.
   We started with Laura Scheibe---the South Dakota’s Director for Carer and Tech Education and the Director of the Division of College Career and Student Success at the South Dakota Dept of Education. 
   Our story—the Dept of Education has awarded 4 grants totaling nearly $3.8 million to schools districts to purchase equipment for new or existing career and tech education programs (CTE). The grants were made possible by Senate Bill 59 from the 2023 legislative session—allocating $5 million for CTE programs around South Dakota. The grants we are told are an investment not only in schools but in the industries that sport the South Dakota Communities. 
   We mentioned a lot of our smaller towns that got award—and CTE Academy in Sioux Falls where $1,000,000 will be used to establish a cutting edge urban ag center as an extension of the CTE Academy’s existing hospitality program. 
   From the South Dakota Legislature—and yes the town of Madison—we talked to Casey Crabtree—about the importance of the program----the Summer Studies coming up-----and the need to make sure with the primary elections coming up that people turn out to vote. Mr. Crabtree will join us on the Leader of the Band Show on Tuesday—led by Scott Lawrence---in our KELO-AM Studios.
   Nolan Clarke---with Brent Baloun being away shared the projects they are working on for those in business, in agriculture, and families alike. Plus they’ll take their team to farm shows and other events to help people PLAN for the future.
   Sarah Heinrich—KFGO Growing Harvest Network---allowed her voice to infiltrate our South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa listenership –with her daily story lines. Yes we do get into North Dakota and Nebraska—and I’ve heard from a dozen or so states with my show.
    Matt Swenson---Swenson Commodities---updated the grain, the meat, the energy and the big Board on Wall Street—something we do like clock work on the half hour.
   Among those in the 2nd half-Steve Dick—State Executive Director of USDA who was a part of the SD Farmers Union Statewide Show that was live on Tuesday 10-11. Steve is an old friend—and he knows ag and people in this great state.

   Bryson Patterson—SBA of South Dakota—gave us some interesting updates. Not only have we seen winners crowned but projects continuing. Bryson and Jaime Wood have introduced us to State-Wide Award Winners that were presented—and gave us much more information businesses and individuals could attend and learn and build even more of a future. They do a fabulous job and we appreciate all the projects that particularly play in our Ag Biz Hour.

    We expect to interview---Obed Garza—who won the South Dakota Minority Owned Business of the Year—just a few days ago. 

    Holly Swee and Suzy Geppert talked with us about Beef Logic---a project they are promoting across South Dakota---- we shared a bit from SDFU show on Tuesday.
    We closed the show with Justin Glisan Iowa State Climatologist—with updates on the crops---the weather and temps ahead.
