Richard Jacobs, the successful principal of Jacobs & Whitehall, a unique publishing house for business and medical professionals, and founder of Speakeasy Marketing, discusses the power of publishing with one of his brightest and best attorney clients, Martin, who has successfully published numerous times and is looking to do more.

Publishing helps to bring in new clients, patients—new business. Jacobs & Whitehall’s proprietary Speak-a-Book™ system truly makes it easy for professionals to speak what they know and then turn that information into a book that has the power to pump up marketing efforts and income.

Attorney Martin talks about his process and how the Speak-a-Book program was a success for his practice, and for his own learning. Attorney Martin explains how Speak-a-Book development helped him to focus and check his ideas, as well as giving him incredible insight into his self and his practice. He shares his thoughts on how the books he created have impacted his clients and their ability to really grasp the big concepts, and how books help his clients relate to him, to see beyond the ‘suit’ and see a person who is really working for them and their issues. Attorney Martin expresses his feelings about marketing, but he states that the books can also create a legacy, give you a bigger dimension and help clients fully understand who you are, which allows them to appreciate your principles.

Continuing, Attorney Martin states that the Speak-a-Book investment is perhaps the best investment any professional can make, an investment in themselves and their business, practice, medical office, etc. Attorney Martin explains how the published book can elevate you to the level of ‘scholar,’ which makes it easier for clients to want to choose you as their legal representative, professional, doctor, etc. And Attorney Martin discusses how his peers have responded, and how they all seem to be excited about the possibilities for their own practice. What’s important, Attorney Martin says, is to write about what’s important to you, and the sincerity will come through when you do. Attorney Martin speaks about how once you are published you will become the source of conversation, and people, including peers and potential clients, will take notice.
