James K. Fireman is a partner in Samfiru Tumarkin LLP’s Personal Injury and Disability Law practice groups in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta. James has built a reputation within the industry as a fierce, but compassionate and creative advocate for his clients. His practice is focused on serious personal injury and disability cases, and he has appeared as counsel on trials and motions before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. In addition to authoring papers on current legal issues for well-known legal publications, James is a guest instructor for the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop at Osgoode Hall, and has been a speaker at several legal conferences. Prior to joining Samfiru Tumarkin, James was a partner at a prominent personal injury law firm. After receiving a degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, James earned his law degree from Queen’s University. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
