In great demand as a speaker and consultant, Helgesen has developed and delivered customized leadership programs for some of the world's top corporations, partnership firms, universities, and nonprofits. She has also taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Smith College, been a visiting scholar at Northwestern University and Australia's Lauriston Intitute, and worked with the United Nations in Africa and Asia.
