January 4, 2013, Marcus Merritt, was found dead in his home in Leonville, Louisiana in St. Landry Parish. His death was ruled a suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. But, for starters, no autopsy was done. Evidence was destroyed and his mother, Royce, has been fighting for answers and justice in the case of her son.
