The 98th Episode of The People's Podcast hits one of the bigger scandals in the history of the Black Press: Ebony Magazine's failure to pay its Freelancers and -- now -- its staff.

Our guests for this episode are former Social Media manager Josh David and former writer Jasmine Washington, the young man and young woman who (along with a host of others) were fired from Ebony on June 7 after going without pay for months. (Interview Begins at 21:30).

They talk about what happened, how much Josh is owed, what they told Jasmine when she was hired, how it was being the Social Media Manager when #EbonyOwes jumped off, and a ton more. We go there.

Plus: Jay talks about how Ebony is not the only one who owes as not paying freelancers and shaming them into silence is an unfortunate problem in the Black press.

Thank you for making last week the greatest ever for this show and thanks for hanging with us as the #RoadTo100 continues.
