Gyms and health clubs may soon have clinics where members can get prescriptions for Ozempic and other GLP-1 weight loss medications. Equinox gyms have a “GLP-1 Protocol,” a personal training program designed to help people preserve muscle while taking Ozempic. Even Weightwatchers now has an “GLP-1 Program.” For gyms, this means access to more members and personal training clients. But are gyms and personal trainers prepared for this?
