This is a very personal story, it's the story of my dad, who in 1983 at the age of 54, was given 6 months to live.  He did quite a bit better than that.  But yet, was never declared cancer-free the entire time! Either someone forgot to tell him it was time to die, or he was too stubborn to die, but either way, it's a story you need to hear.
