When you build a house you build a solid foundation first, then you build up from there. You don’t start at the roof then build down. You pour a good concrete slab and go from there. The same goes for Scripture!

It wouldn't be a great decision to start reading in Revelation, then work backwards and expect to grab a full understanding of what the Scriptures are saying.

It’s not a good idea to start in Matthew either, and just read the New Testament writings. You must start with the foundation: the Torah.
