In our constant fight against spiritual forces of evil, we are at a severe disadvantage if not for the armor of God.
We are currently in a spiritual battle against the devil, and he is an unrelenting enemy. He will do as much damage as possible, fighting to the very end.
No matter what your position is—maybe you’re a slave or maybe you’re a master—the gospel changes your identity even if it doesn’t change your position in this world.
As our society continually decays around us, we keep looking for solutions and demanding answers. The Bible gives us the answer, and the solution begins at home.
First, Genesis 2:24 must always be our foundation. Second, Christ has set us free from the condemnation of the law.
A wife uses her God-given strength and gifts to support the leadership of her husband so he can lead their family.
Husbands, we have to take the lead through what may be best described as servant leadership. We lead our wife by example. We lead by suffering for her sake. We show her what it means to take up her cross by taking up our own cross.

The first way to be shame-free in marriage is to be perfect; the second way to be shame-free is to experience the grace of covenantal love. In the latter case, it is that love which covers all our flaws.
By submitting to one another, we refuse to let any distinction come between us. We are embracing our identity in Christ who saved one person exactly as he saved the next: by his grace alone.
