A former reporter for the Los Angeles Times, Communications Director Massie Ritsch oversees the Center’s original journalism and its frequent contact with the news media and others who rely on CRP’s computer-based research and nonpartisan analysis. Before joining the organization in January 2006, Massie was a communications strategist for a public affairs firm in Los Angeles, following nearly five years covering politics, education and other news for the Times. A native of Richmond, Va., he received a bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University.
