We were searching our archive and found a lost interview with Bhangra artist Malkit Singh. Recorded in 2008 on the eve of the singer's MBE ceremony, when he was given the title of Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by the Queen of England, Malkit Singh recollects his transition from Punjab to the UK, the state of folk music, and the real meaning of Tootak Tootak Tootiyan (it's pretty steamy). He also gets a bit senty <3.
