Wafa is an emerging South Sudanese artist who grew up in Kenya. Her music is a melodic blend of Kenyan and East African sounds. Wafa has recently opened for Nigerian Afrobeat artists L.A.X. and headlined her own show in London. Throughout her career she has collaborated with South Sudanese and Kenyan artists Mario Bol, Lassy and Rico 254. In this episode we uncover how Wafa started out in music and why she would pick $1M and Burna Boya during our fun segment. Wafa also speaks on having core values in the music industry as well as psychology being her passion. Wafa has a new single called 'Senseless' and hints at an upcoming EP.
