In this episode my mother and I interview stripper Mary Nance. We ask questions ranging from what is typical in the industry and what is not, from being propositioned for both sex/porn to drug use. Mary's strong character has kept her from the pitfalls that are in the industry and she has been able to maintain a great financial resource being a stripper. Reducing the stigma that strippers often face is paramount.Be good to yourselves and each other,Gigi GaloreMary's written bio:I started dancing when I was 18 in the panhandle of Florida. The reason was really simple: money. Between my job and school, I was working 70+ hours a week, without insurance, without enough bill money, and with barely enough gas money to get from home to school to my job. I started stripping, and knocked the socks off the building. When I was 19, I moved to New Orleans and started working the clubs on Bourbon Street. It was a wild scene. I fell in absolute love with the city, and stayed for six years. I traveled on "workcations" while I was living there, to keep exploring. When I was 24, I got married and left the city.
