As part of the second segment of our ‘Pacific Culture Unpacked’ mini podcast series, we talk about how gender roles are generally perceived in Pasifika culture and the behavioural norms that are associated with it. Specifically, we give our unfiltered & honest thoughts on certain Tongan traditions that cause a detriment to people’s lives because of their gender and the cultural obligations and responsibilities that arise from it.
