Domestic Violence is an extremely important matter. It threatens the lives and the physical and mental health of millions of people worldwide. There are no special qualifications or rules when it comes to being a survivor of abuse. Each survivor has their own experience. 

I am working to celebrate the lives of all survivors and network for change through connectedness. The purpose of this episode is to emphasize the beginning of our journey as survivors of domestic violence. Each story is a voice to someone's truth. For anyone facing similar hardships that are causing you to self-reflect, this is for you too.  As a survivor, this is part one of the story behind my "why."
