On today's episode I wanted to share my experience of how I made sure I kept my education first and the job second. After graduating I've seen so many companies encourage veterinary technician students to practice their skills as techs, but not encouraging them to finish school. Why work for the reward if I already have it? For anyone in school, never allow a job to make you feel bad for putting your education first. It's exciting to be trained on the job; however, make sure the title and the pay comes with it.
