Julie Rovner is a journalist and author whose work focuses on health policy. Currently, she is the Chief Washington Correspondent for Kaiser Health News and host of its podcast, "What the Health."Previously, Rovner was the health policy correspondent for National Public Radio. She has also reported for National Journal’s Congress Daily, Congressional Quarterly, and The Lancet.Rovner is the author of the critically praised reference book "Health Care Politics and Policy A-Z," now in its third edition.
