Bridgett Herring Williams received her undergraduate degree in Construction Management from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master’s in public administration from High Point University.  While a student at A&T, Bridgett was an active student leader, serving in many capacities and represented her alma mater as Miss North Carolina A&T State University, 1997-98. Upon graduation from college, Bridgett began a career in construction as an assistant project manager while also pursuing her passion for inner-city youth, by volunteering for the local Boys & Girls Club. Through her volunteerism, Bridgett learned more about the non-profit sector which eventually led to her career change.

Dedicating almost 20 years to the non-profit sector, Bridgett has vast experiences as a program director to an executive director. She demonstrated expertise has been in program development, grant writing, facilitating partnerships, consulting, and leading fundraising campaigns for nonprofits of various sizes and missions. Working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, and the Marilyn G. Rabb Foundation, Bridgett learned the challenges of non-profit leadership from many different points of view. Additionally, she facilitates leadership development and management seminars and workshops for other community and faith-based organizations. Having returned to her roots, Bridgett is currently the Director of Development for the College of Science & Technology at A&T and the Vice President of Albri Logistics, a transportation business she co-owns with her husband and President of New Visions Management, a small business, and non- profit consulting company.  Bridgett is certain her primary purpose in life is to serve young people, most especially young women. She has served on several boards and held committee leadership positions within community organizations including Friends of Macedonia, JAL3 Ministries, Goodwill Industries, Project Potential, Cabarrus Charter Academy, Next Generation-The Movement, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Homeless Shelter Network and Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful. Her volunteer service has also expanded internationally with Samaritan’s Feet in White River, South Africa.

She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., National Council for Negro Women, the National Association of Women Professionals, Queen City Alumni Chapter of North Carolina A&T State University, the Advisory Board of 1,2,3 JUMP and serves as a consultant for several brands in the fashion and entertainment industry as well as nonprofit organizations. Bridgett is a contributing author in ‘The HBCU Experience Anthology-The North Carolina A&T State University Edition’ and 'The HBCU Experience-The HBCU Royal University Queens Edition'.  Though her life serving the community is fulfilling, her greatest joy comes in spending time with her husband and daughter.
