Jessica Nathan Brown is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She is currently the Assistant Director of Student Activities in the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She provides leadership development and campus engagement opportunities for students and plans events for students. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, where she served as Miss Stillman College 2012-2013. She received a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of South Alabama. She will begin pursuing her doctoral degree in August 2020.  

Jessica is happily married to her husband Brandon. She is very involved in activities at her church and in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for NASPA Alabama and is a member of other student affairs professional organizations. Jessica has a passion for developing young people and looks forward to growing in the field of student affairs.
