Trev Baker suffered a life-threatening life-changing traumatic injury whilst climbing on Arthurs seat in Edinburgh on new years eve 1999.  He suffered a severe spinal injury at c4 level and was left with a high level of paralysis and was told that I would never walk again and would need a wheelchair and care for the rest of my life.

Trev Baker now lives independently with the assistance of carers and relies on a powerchair for mobility. Trev was and is a fan of outdoor activities and has pursued this. Trev has numerous sports coaching awards, a bachelor of arts degree in humanistic counselling, written a biography about the life and recovery, and now is a business owner in partnership with the utility warehouse.
